Why in the world would Ford drop RED on the Ranger Raptor.

Why in the world would Ford drop the Red on the Raptor. Rudy Red would have been an excellent color and thats the color I would have order on my Raptor. To drop a Silver for that ugly color Marsh another Gray is just plain and simple a stupid choice by Ford. I just do not understand Ford's decisions on new colors. Ford has really made some bad choices on color and offering no RED on a performance model like the Ranger Raptor is a big one. Red is a performance color for your sporty models and Ranger Raptor is a sporty model. Ford of North America in regards to the Ranger treats it like a second class citizen and are mad that its offered here in states. They probably like to see it go away again so you have to buy a F150 if you want a truck.

I really like the Chili Pepper Red that I have, there are too many Ruby Reds driving around, I had that color on my F-150.

A lot of people on the F150 Raptor forum were bumming when they dropped Iconic Silver from the F150 Raptor a couple years ago.
Lightning Blue would have been my first choice. But we don't get cool colors like the overseas Raptors. ?

Velocity is just a little too light and bright for me. I liked how my Lightning Blue 2017 Raptor would darken up a little in overcast conditions. Unfortunately, when I bought my 2020 Raptor Lightning Blue was no longer an option.

Now that the 2026 online build is out, Red is still only available on the standard Rangers just like the 2025's. My thought (without any backup) is that Ford only offers 8 total colors for the Ranger. Since they reserved Shelter Green for the Raptor only, one color had to go. I am assuming based on 2024 sales the Red might have been the least chosen/ordered color is why they changed it.

I have yet to see in person a 2024 RR in the HPR. I still love it though my 2025 is not that color. At least I am not tempted to buy a 2026 at this point.
