Anyone know if u can buy the wireless charging pad for a truck that doesn't have one. There is a blank spot on the console for it. Maybe the wires are under there also!

If you have a Apple phone, just buy a Magsafe charger. It plugs into the USB-C port.

If I were to pick one thing about my Ranger, that was a waste of space, it would be the factory wireless charger. All mine does is make the phone hot and maybe add a small battery percentage increase. I even purchased a new MagSafe case and have tried charging with the case off. Then I read that you should be careful what is placed on top of the charger besides a phone, and that it could be a fire hazard. Coming from a full size truck, it is a disappointment to have the reduced storage options wasted. I should probably pull the fuse for it, so I don’t have to worry about it.

Thx for the info. I've seen where people have said it doesn't work well.

Yes the wireless charging pad is a disappointment.

they should have cut a notch in the pad for the camera bump on phones

and qi2 with magnetic alignment and holding it in place

there was a thread on here about putting the phone in upside down helping.

I tried it, maybe that it better

i personally would not bother adding the wireless charging pad And get a usb wireless charging pad instead. Those at least work.

Does anyone know the fuse needed to turn the wireless charger off? I noticed the same thing as Firstford1..phone gets hot and does not charge that much. I have a pixel 9 pro
