Does anyone know what you get with the upgraded LT 255/70 R17 All-Terrain OWL Tires on an XLT FX4 build?

$275 upgrade compared to the 17” Off-Road OWL Tires that come with the FX4 package. I think the stock tires are the Goodyear Wrangler Territory AT/S but also not sure.

I'm waiting to hear back from my sales rep and will update this if he can get an answer.

I believe you get the General Grabber ATx tire. Which in my opinion, is a much better looking (not sure about performance) tire than the Goodyear Wranglers.

Thanks, those look solid. Can you check if they're M+S or Three Peak Snow rated?
Only designation I see on them is M+S. Kind of dark and rainy right now but I can check again in the morning.

Bringing this thread back. I also ordered the LT tires because I have not heard great things about the Wranglers on or off road. I have the Grabbers on my Bronco and they are definitely solid and I noticed better handling on road over the factory Bridgestone Duelers. Off-road has been good too.

Have you noticed any issues with road noise or MPGs below average compared to other Rangers?

Mine is currently in production. XLT/FX4 with the 2.7L. Can't wait!!

Recently did a 1300 mile trip to the Davis Mountains leaving Sugar Land to San Antonio then staying on US 90 to Alpine TX and up to FT Davis. All around the area and back the same way. Comfortable ride with minimal noise. Averaged 21.5. I'm not a passive driver. Mine are not the ATX but the LT AT. I like them.

I have the same XLT/FX4 2.7 on order… upgraded the tires as well and hoping they are the Generals. No production date as of yet but looking forward.

Although I couldn’t be happier with my raptor, it was bittersweet not being able to take ownership of the iconic silver XLT. Especially now that they have discontinued that color. There will not be very many iconic silver Rangers with the 2.7.
Hoping for a speedy build and delivery of your new Ranger. Keep us posted.

Did you get the stock Wranglers? I ordered the upgrade tire package up here in Canada and hoping for the Generals. We shall see.

Yep I heard from a few folks same & glad I upgraded… lots of other good choices out there and likely you can sell those for a few bucks anyway.
