Borfoo3's Ranger Raptor Delivered

Starting the obligatory thread now that I've received the truck this week.

Next few steps are to move my UHF radio and ikamper mini tent to the bed of the truck from my 4Runner. Build thread is here in case anyone is curious where I'm coming from.

Looking for a simple crossbar setup and bed cover in the bed to fit my ikamper tent at cab level.

Hoping to avoid any heavy mods and keep this truck as close to stock as possible

Love the interior shot! I feel like no one ever posts shots of the interior, when like 90% of the time that is what we will be looking at the most.

My only question...how is the ride quality on the street for daily driving?

Did some "minor" offroad testing today.. this thing is razor sharp in the sand

I would describe the ride as "sporty" but neither floaty nor firm or punishing.

Eats small bumps and potholes like they are not there (most probably due to the large wheels) but slightly firmer on bigger bumps such as speed bumps.

Though I'm only 100 miles
om the odo so the Fox shocks may need more time to break in.

On a scale of 1 to 10:
"1" is a 1950's Cadillac,
"4" is a stock 4Runner
"5" is a Land cruiser 200 series
"9" is a German sporty sedan such as Audi S3 or Golf GTI

I would rank the Ranger Raptor as a "7"

Few more updates on daily stuff

Went to the underground parking today for the first time. Roof clearance sign said 2.10 meters max height (~6ft 11 inches).. plenty of clearance even with the long antenna sticking off the roof.



Either way, I still have the stubby version on order from Amazon

I'm hoping my Raptor will fit in my garage. I *think* it will...hahaha.

Definitely need a stubby.

Roughly 72" from ground to top of cab. Add another 8" for the antenna

Thanks a lot man!! Looks like I may need a stubby antenna to clear my 81” garage opener. I have been stressing over the height. Haha

Haha no worries. I think it will clear your garage just fine. The antenna has a bit of flex to it. Stubby will look better though imo

Oh, for sure. I’m getting a stubby anyway. The current antenna makes it look like an RC car.
