Yes, the 6 speed manual is available in some markets with the entry level 2L single turbo diesel engine, in 4x2 and 4x4 versions.

I forgot about the Getrag 6 speed offered in the ROW. its right up there with offering the 2.7 L. Likely or unlikely.

If Ford offers a manual, I will get it. Well, if they offer a diesel there will be a debate in my head until the order banks open, then I will buy a new Ranger.
If there is no manual nor diesel option, likely go with a used F150. If Jeep can put a manual in the Gladiator (Yes I have one) then Ford can put one in the Ranger.

Believe it or not, we've got them in Southeast Asia. 2.0 single turbo 6 spd M/T. It's the base model, and sure is fun to drive. Just not happy about the throttle delay on modern cars. Kinda takes the fun out of driving a manual.

manual transmissions are going the way of the dodo...so to speak...I know they are still out there, but it's a dying breed...Hell my Freightliner Cascadia is a auto...and almost 90% of our fleet( 500 trucks ) are autos...sorry to disappoint, but i'd love a manual in the Ranger, my 08 had a 5 speed and i loved it.

The base model you can truly feel is a base model. No spiffy driving aids, no cruise control, or driving modes. Feels like driving a 90s stickshift, only that it has a throttle delay with the new technology implemented for modern cars. The essence of a manual transmission.
