Thanks for all the replies. So I did submit the MSRP retail order through the first dealer. I got the confirmation email yesterday. The other dealer did send me an email,
with the $2500 adm in writing. That would be for their allocated unit. He also said they would do the $0 ADM retail order but I shouldn’t expect it until 2025. It sounds believable. If it was $1000 ADM that would be better. I’m torn still…..

”We would honor an MSRP retail order on a Ranger Raptor when they become available. From Ford, we were told the retail order banks won't open until 2025. The Raptor's that dealers are getting are only stock units for right now and dealerships (unless large) are only getting 1 Raptor each until the retail banks open.”
Retail order banks opened for Ranger Raptor last week. I put one in with my regular dealer and got confirmation from Ford. I have the #2 stock order at another dealer. I'll probably end up eating a deposit if I cancel one, but it's not much.

I'll be interested to see if @fordvideoguy can confirm anything like this.
Ford wants to make sure each dealer receives one. Once they are given and they know the rest of 24MY Raptor production they will allocate the rest of production based on a formula of their choosing.

As per goggle there is just under 3,000 dealers in the USA

Hey in your video this week you mentioned 3300 Rangers in the bank currently. Does that number include Raptors? Im just curious how low the demand is, and perhaps maybe we will get more allocations earlier than Q4. Thank you.

I spoke with my dealer GM Monday afternoon & he said that my Raptor order is their only allocation for a Raptor & that they had just received one allocation for a non Raptor Ranger. They’re a smaller dealer but it seems strange that overall they’re only getting two Ranger allocations as of right now.

That make sense. I'm just wondering if the demand is literally 3300 total units, they should have no problem fulfilling everyones order and just giving every dealer the allocation they need. Of course, its probably bad messaging if 75% of Rangers on the road are Raptors so I see why they would hold those back.

It doesn't say but I believe it doesn't include Raptor orders.

Update: I went to the second dealer today and signed the papers. As much as I hate paying an ADM, I really want this truck. When I was getting ready to leave I asked when I would get the confirmation email from Ford. The GM said I wouldn’t get one. I found this a little concerning. He stated they can’t input the order until Ford says it’s available to them to order. Is this true? My retail order from the other dealer spawned an order confirmation from Ford almost instantly. All this order process is very confusing to me.

Apparently Ford is opening the ordering and closing them some time after. I tried to order from one dealer and they said they couldn’t load orders at that time so they put in an order for dealer stock. I decided to try a larger dealer and was told the system would be open the filling day at 3pm eastern so I gave them a $500.00 down payment the following day I received my confirmation which said they will notify me with 45 days so L hangout on this web site with yall

Thanks for providing an update.

I had a very similar experience that that of your dealer with the ADM. Mine isn't charging an ADM, but they are saying that they can't place the order yet because it's not open. It's confusing because some dealerships can and others, even though they also have an allocation, still can't do it yet? So I contacted Ford Live Chat and asked them whats going on and they basically gave me a case number and told me to give it to my dealership so they could look into it and figure out when they'll be able to place that order.

My dealer had spoken to the Ford rep multiple times to no avail in the past so hopefully this leads us somewhere without annoying my dealership too much... The case number was only assigned yesterday and I dont think it'll do to much, probably just my Ford dealership contact the Build and Price team.

All very confusing
