FX4 package requires running boards. Semantics but don’t want it to get confused with the “box side step” because it does not require that.I think FX4 requires side steps.

I have a spray in and got scheduled in the 2nd round of schedulingI'd pull off anything that you can get done easily after taking delivery. The Spray in Bedliner will delay your delivery. I was told this by multiple dealers. You can get Linex at home same day, Ford will send your truck out to get sprayed.
Yes, but after production it is sent out to get sprayed in, before shipping, which adds more time than a day it takes to do LineX. I've been told sometimes weeks are added.I have a spray in and got scheduled in the 2nd round of scheduling
He’s talking about a delay in delivery, not scheduling.I have a spray in and got scheduled in the 2nd round of scheduling
ah well with strikes on the horizon its possible it could be longer so mehYes, but after production it is sent out to get sprayed in, before shipping, which adds more time than a day it takes to do LineX. I've been told sometimes weeks are added.
yep, very familiar with that boilerplate disclaimer. Ford was feeling the heat on Looooooong Maverick wait times and starting sending that out. Notice there are 4 reasons listed? It was still SOP with later order dates getting built and delivered thousands of times. We all knew the oldest order first condition had no basis in reality- and the other 3 reasons were constantly cited by Ford. They also blamed the shortage of CDL transport drivers and lack of the specialty rail cars available too
eventuallyThis is your friendly, weekly reminder to everyone in this thread, that if you did not get scheduled, and maintain your reservation, you will get a Ranger.
I don’t know if this is the best thread to put this in but my dealer is a very small dealer and they did a raffle to get drawn for the first allocation. I was the lucky winner tbh it was 50% since there were only two of us. I haven’t received any emails but they did have me sign paperwork saying it was my truck reserved and had me send them build sheets. They did not ask for a holding deposit but they did say they would be 5k over sticker which is fine since I know they are much higher at other dealers. Should I be worried since I haven’t received and Ford emails about delays or build dates? My sales guy told me he would give me the vin as soon as they got it.
Is this something to be worried about or is it just another way for them to place the order. My sales guy has assured me my name is assigned to the ranger raptor.Sounds like your dealer is submitting your order as a stock order instead of retail.
The order he gave me was t26w and priority 10.Is this something to be worried about or is it just another way for them to place the order. My sales guy has assured me my name is assigned to the ranger raptor.

The order he gave me was t26w and priority 10.It's how a dealer would order a vehicle to sit on their lot/floorplan with no specific buyer. When the order bank opened there was some back and forth between dealers and Ford on this issue. The only downside is you can't track it and hold the dealer accountable.
Sometimes stock gets priority over retail and vice versa. Currently several other Ford vehicles are closed for retail orders but open for stock orders. It makes no sense but forums like this would not exist if everything made sense.

They also had me sign this but they didn’t have the option for Raptor at the time so this was as good as it got. Does it seem like my dealership is being honest?
