Won’t know until Thursday or later. All scheduling is done on Thursday, with notifications going out Thursday or Friday afterwards

I just want to get a schedule date lol I will be hitting my 45 day email but I'm sure it will be the default one they say. supply shortage blah blah.

Just got mine last week. Pretty standard your update is there are no updates. Supply chain blah blah blah….we’ll check back in 45 days with the same nonsense.

Your email can come as late as Wednesday. If you check the tracking page however you can probably figure out if it was scheduled Saturday evening

Just got an email from Ford. It’s Thursday so it got my hopes up a bit.

I got a 2nd 45-day update from Ford this morning. Boo!

Then shortly after, I got an email saying my Ranger is scheduled to be built! Yay!

My excitement would be through the roof if it wasn't for the (likely) impending UAW strike.

Edit: I ordered an XLT, Cactus Gray, FX4 (with running boards)

I received the email yesterday saying my build was pushed out to October 2nd...which is great, considering the last email said it was pushed out to October 21 lol

Don't want to rain on your parade but scheduled to be built is a limbo land of sorts in my experience. It doesn't mean your truck is actually getting built yet It is 1 step better than "unscheduled/clean", but not going "in production" and ready to roll down the line on any specific date. It is up to the factory to decide now whether/if they can actually move you "into the factory" with a firm build week/day, leave you where you are, or even move you backwards to "unscheduled/clean again. Be prepared to see your date move out and back multiple times which is very common unfortunately for many of us ordering vehicles from Ford recently. From my experience with Maverick, there will also need to be an allocation at your dealer for the factory to actually assign you a date to move you into the factory and go down the line.

I just got my update email from Ford. This one doesn't have a promise for an update within 45 days like the previous ones did. Here is the text of my email:

As promised, we want to update you on the status of your Ranger Raptor® order. We are still experiencing delays due to the supply chain challenges that Ford and our industry are facing at this time.

Please understand that while getting your vehicle into production is taking longer than usual, we are doing all we can to minimize the delays.

There’s nothing we want more than to deliver your new Ranger Raptor®. We are fully committed to keeping you updated on your vehicle’s status, and will let you know as more information becomes available. We apologize for any inconvenience, and truly appreciate your patience and understanding.

If I recall correctly, my dealer told me I would not get a VIN number until my order was scheduled. Is that not the case? I could potentially get a VIN before they put me in the schedule?
