It appears the Australian next gen Rangers XLT trims and up all have (or have the option for) Intelligent ACC including Lane centering. I've noted this feature is conveniently missing from 2024 rangers here in the USA. All we get here is regular ACC with Lane keep assist which apparently sucks, ping pongs you around in the lane and isn't as good as lane centering. Idk I've never driven a car with either. From what I can tell, you need Ford Co-pilot 360 Assist (or Assist+?)for Lane centering which is unavailable on a Ranger but is available on the Maverick and Bronco Sport. This baffles me.
What gives Ford? I mean its bad enough you took the rear vents away. The reason I'm kind of bummed is I was hoping the Ranger would be compatible with a Comma 3 for a poor mans blue cruise autopilot set up. Comma 3 needs lane centering.
I know this has been brought up before a few months ago, someone had a question about the differences between Lane keep and centering. but to be clear lane centering is not an option for us here. In my opinion Ford does a HORRIBLE job clearly listing each feature on each package on each trim on their website.
