Been searching YouTube for weeks for more Ranger Raptor info, nothing but pre-production launch stuff from a year ago when it comes to US spec Ranger Raptors. Anyone knows the dates when the US press will start getting their hands on these Ranger Raptors.

You didn't even look at the forum to find your answer. I don't even know if you deserve an answer. Look at All terrain nation post.
I did look even tried a search all I found was speculative comments from back in January.
I also found comments from order holders waiting on their trucks to ship but were concerned they were not shipping till the press got their preview.
‘I still don’t see what you’re referring to.

Press is getting their hands on the trucks this week. Raptor embargo ends on 3/21 according to ATN.
Thanks so sounds like 3/21 the flood gates should open.
‘Since I can’t see one in person anywhere near me. I thought I might be able to learn more about them by watching some reviews. Mostly what I am wanting to see is how taller and larger journalist fit and if they find it a comfortable place to be. Say someone line Andre from TFL, he is a big guy 6’3”. That big guy from truck king.
Something I hate is having a B pillar crowding me or having to navigate around it to get in and out.
‘Some 4 door vehicles have really short doors and intrusive B-pillar’s.
‘Ie. My 2 door bronco fits me great, no b pillar issue at all, but the 4 door I had sat in prior to buying my 2 door, I had really hated it, the B-pillar was crowding me, I had to navigate around it to get in, consequently bumping my head. Overall hated the 4 door, all because of those short doors and poor B-pillar placement for my height and broad shoulders. I am in hopes the Ranger Raptor is a good fit for me, I really like the Ranger Raptor physical size and feature content.

I still can't wrap my head around the speculation of the built trucks having delivery paused until after some press event and for journalists to publish their reviews. Why would a publicly traded company not want to realize additional sales and keep revenue flowing when they are always scrutinized over quarterly earnings? I know a midsize isn't going to move the needle much, but it is still something.

My initial thought was Ford was having issues with EPA or CARB certification similar to the Tacoma in December. My understanding is there was a back log with the agency leading to a delay in the process. While a number of Tacos were built and ready to go, they weren't allowed to deliver until they were certified.

My gut tells me….it allows them to place blame on the union strike, but then kick of March with a bang.

I tend to agree with the latter being the more plausible cause for the delay an EPA certification or some other certification process that needed completed with a regular production unit being tested or some BS government deal, or possibly some quality control situation.
Lord knows Ford does not need any more quality issues.
Those new Tacos seem to have more than their fair share of issues popping up, it would be nice to see the Ranger not have all that BS, first year production.

The current Raptor has been out in Australia for two years, and the UK started receiving theirs in the last 3 months. Plenty of content from those two countries on YouTube which will answer all of your questions. Plenty Aussie content creators owning, modifying, driving, complaining and talking about their experiences therein. I expect the UK equivalent to arriving over the next year.

To your height question, Paul from CarExpert does a comprehensive review on everything and is 6,1". He owns a Raptor and has a few vids on it. Search "CarExpert Raptor" to find it. Cliff Notes: the back seat of the new Ranger is noticeably larger/roomier than the new Tacoma & GM twins.

Andre from TFL attended the Raptor Launch event, and he interviews one of the engineers for like an hour...how'd you miss that video? He sits in it, comments on it, etc, etc.

Comparing a 2-door to a 4-door anything is a bit silly quite frankly. Your two door Bronco has longer doors than the 4-door Bronco...otherwise, everything would be the length of a limo. Size-wise, the Ranger & Bronco should be similar. Some photos popped up recently here, of a US-based vehicle, showing that they two vehicles have similar width.

Variety of ideas or issues can lead to a variety of decisions:
- An onslaught of positive media (most likely) coupled with simultaneous availability could lead to a spike in sales
- Delayed launch could lead to more pent-up demand, allowing interest to maintain for longer, past peak selling season and into the 2024 winter. Neither GM nor Toyota have had problem-free launches, and that TFL incident didn't do Toyota any favors. Whatever volume of customers jumped from Ford to GM, Toyota or Nissan probably won't make a difference. In reality, they're at most 10k - 15k total units behind. Chump change for volume manufacturers
- Existing out-going model-year vehicles still on the ground, and dealers wanting to sell those with no on-the-ground internal competition
- Every OEM is different, and probably has different relationships with regulatory boards...could lead to a variety of delays we're unaware of
- Toyota didn't have to contend with a plant shutdown which overhauling a plant for a new model. Ford did. I can only imagine what the ripple effects are. The switch-over is nuts to begin with.

Thanks
I have been watching a lot of those Austrailian and UK etc. However most are right hand drive not quite the same thing. I did see one the other day where the Australian was a pretty big guy and looked to be reasonably comfortable in the right-hand driver seat.

There is some content out there with left hand drive raptors but most of those guys were not big guys. Seems like quite a few must have made it to the Philippines. Those seem to be left hand drive.

I am aware the door length changes between most any 2 and 4 door vehicles offered in both versions, which is why the B-pillar placement changes as well.

I had a Diesel ZR2 Bison a few years ago.
That ZR2 was pretty comfortable and no issue at all getting in and out of it.
In hopes that Ranger Raptor is more similar to that Zr2, then the 4dr Bronco.
For me the back seat is going to get flipped up and used for storage and the occasional dog or two coming along for the ride. The back seat room really is not as important to me as the front seats and B-pillar placement.

So, the embargo release date is now the 18th not the 21st?
Regular Rangers embargo ends the 19th and Raptors is the 21st
