Hi there:

Just joined the 6g forum and am close to placing an order. Just some newbie questions if you can help me.
Are any dealers selling 24s for below MSRP?
We are located in south central PA. Does anyone know of a reputable (?) Ford dealership in the area or even in the Mid Atlantic/New England?
We were a Ford family in our early days and switched to Jeeps. Ready to go back to Ford.
Thanks for any help you can give us.

Most dealers are only getting 1 allocation for the first wave of Ranger Raptors so it would be pretty tough to find one below MSRP for a while. Some dealers will sell them for MSRP but others are adding ADMs.

Most dealers have sold their allocation of Ranger Raptors except the greediest ones asking $20-40k over MSRP. Good luck, you'll need it.

Gonna have to be patient and likely wait a year until more allocation is dropped to dealers and the Raptors become more available. Most are committed now or have high premiums.

I'd suggest making a dealer friend and seeing if you can't get on their list for their next round of allocations. A higher volume dealer is going to get more allocation long term.

If last gen F150 Raptors are still selling for MSRP, then Ranger Raptors have no chance of selling for under MSRP for the first few years.

Depends on the dealer. Have some dealer friends thar deal on raptors also as they are more about turning inventory than making $ on one vehicle. But definitely won't happen as often or as easy as a more common ranger model that they have greater allocation of.

Now Raptor Rs since they sell to a unique buyer who wants something no one else has, there won't be any deals to be had.

What are the sales numbers for each?

Ha! Earnhardt Ford up in PHX is still putting $10K ADM on freakin’ Mavericks and Bronco Sports! I can’t imagine what they’ll try to get on Rangers, much less R-Raptors… ?

If I was you I would go ahead and put my order in now. Better chances getting it sooner than waiting on dealers to get them. I put my order in March 1, 2024 and got my email build date on March 20th for a build date of May 6.

I totally agree. My main problem is with the trade-in. Most dealers won’t settle on a trade-in value until the vehicle is delivered. At that point you’re at their mercy and they know it. I’ve heard horror stories of folks getting really lowballed. Once the vehicle you really want is delivered you don’t want to walk away.

Reputable dealers use real time values for trade-in. So you shouldn't get low balled, or you’re using the wrong dealer. Also if values of your trade are expected to go down before yours arrives, many dealers will buy trades ahead of time so you can take advantage of current time values.

What I’m going to do at my dealer is ask them when I get noticed it’s being shipped what they will will give me for my trade and they will let me know at that time. They I will put it on Facebook marketplace and try to sell it out right. At my dealer you can drive up anytime and ask them how much they will pay you to buy your car. This is what I’m going to do.
