Ranger Raptor drivers door has to be closed hard / slammed

Anyone else have issues with the drivers door having to be slammed? None of the other doors have this issue, so I wonder if it is just out of adjustment or that’s just the way it is.

Both my driver's doors are visibly out of alignment and close much harder than the passenger side which is aligned.

I don’t have the Raptor but the Lariat. Before I took delivery I noticed the same issue. The dealership took it to their body shop and they did a quick adjustment to the door. I have had no issues since.

mine has same issue of drivers door not closing normal i have to slam harder than it should to get it to close all the way

Mine has same issue with driver's door. Hood also needs to be slammed shut.
Have not selected a local dealer for service (bought in Iowa), yet, but will need to take it in for adjustment.
Why Ford couldn't catch either of these on so many vehicles in their supposedly lengthy QC checks is beyond me.

I took it into the dealer for the door, they adjusted the striker. It's better, but not like the other three.

I am experiencing all doors difficult to get fully closed unless slammed shut or window cracked open. VIN 1FTER4LR1RLE08404. This truck was purchased from landers Ford South. Southaven MS.

Both my driver side doors have to be slammed. Also, my hood will not close. The first time I opened it I could not get it closed back. I tied it down and took it back to the dealer, and I was told that I just needed to slam it. I was also told that there are no spare parts yet for that and I would just have to wait on them then they would install it

Lemon law candidate? Still, am happy with other aspects of the RR.
Having to tie down your new 2024 hood is both unsafe and unacceptable.
I realize many of the early 2024 builds had to have their hood replaced due to structural issues.

I took my Ranger Raptor to the closet dealer to my house, Hudson Ford, and they opened and closed it about 10 times with about 7 the door did not close properly. This dealer is owned by Lithia, which just recently purchased it. Things seemed to changed when they asked me where I purchased it. I told them they didn’t have any and I purchased it elsewhere. They said there’s nothing wrong with it, but didn’t try the other doors like I asked them to.

pretty obvious that they don’t want to work on it if they didn’t sell it. They also add a LoJack at $500 to all new and used vehicles they sell. Looks like they are just turning into someone I don’t want to do business with.

Ford has started a case on my truck and I am taking it to the selling dealer on June 6 but they don’t have a body shop. I’ll wait and see what they say, but at this point I might just end up taking it to my cousins shop and pay him to fix it.
