So, bit of a unique situation I got myself into. Will tell the long form story as this is a forum. Had a 24 TRD pro taco allocation which they told me would be about 55k a year ago. Got here, then they dropped the 65k BASE PRICE on me, before dealer bullshit. Told them to fuckthemselves promptly, took my deposit back and left them hanging with it. Bee lined straight for ford, as I owned a 17 FoRS and loved it. After getting jerked around by about 5 dealers with the "we dont have anything other than allocations now" i finally found a small town place which I will shout out here if and when the process is complete and all parties are happy. They both had the exact setup I wanted, but when I told them I wont pay a dime over MSRP they just looked at me and said "ok, deposit please". They then printed off the window sticker for me, gave me a recipt and I was on my way. I called about a month later askin for an update, the sales guy was shadey AF, acting like there wasnt a way to tell. Bitch, I basically STALKED my FoRS through the process, dont tell me there isnt a way. And yall on here know, ya just go to the site and type the VIN and Order number in. WEEEEEEELLLLL I have the VIN which is 1FTER4LRXRLE20437. But..... i have no order number. As the truck wasnt ordered by me. It was an allocation that already happened to be comming to that dealer prior to my showing up. So he wouldnt give me the info. Weird I thought. Kept having to ask his manager. Then he told me GOOD NEWS EVERYONE. The truck will be here quick, its been built already. He specifically spoke the words built, not in production. Ok cool, sounds good. Next day I get another call from them saying they jumped the shark and it could be a couple few months. Still wouldnt give me the data, still acted like the tracking system doesnt exist and everyone on the forum shouldnt be trusted. So now we are caught up to current day in my rediculous grammar garbage text wall.

My questions to you all are : is he retarded, lying, or jerkin me around. And is there any way anyone on here can track the truck or tell ME how to do so without this bullshit order number?

Every dealership has an inventory specialist. Forget the sales person and go straight to the source. The GM can also make a call to corporate and get the true timeline if the production timeline isn’t being filtered through the system correctly. This is all assuming you have a dealership that gives an “F” about you-

I’ve done all these options with ford dealerships, so I know it works.

I don’t think your VIN is correct. I believe the “X” should be a number, or at least that is how it is for the normal Rangers. Once you have the real VIN, then you can look up the window sticker and get the order number from that. Armed with those two details you can view the Ford tracker yourself.

Mine is 1FTER4LR4RLE12723 which means that the main difference in these VINS is the last 5 digits.

I'd protect your money/deposit by not agreeing to anything unless you have it written down.
You might give them a little time, some people on here have been waiting almost a year, I've been waiting close to 6 months.

According to this, there isn't a Window Sticker yet for the VIN that I assumed was yours.

So I did some research. All the info one needs is on the window sticker. The order number is the "item#" just to the left of the MSRP. In my case 44-J11M OT 2, in which you only need the J11M. Went to the tracking site and.........well see the pic.

Yes the inuendo was intended. USN.

So the VIN is correct.

Extremely disapointing news. But, considering THEY ordered this truck for their allocation a long time ago, and the last update was a month ago.... im just going to fool myself into believing I will see it some time the end of next month.

Tesla has a better sales experience for the customer cuts out the middleman dealer your order it from the manufacture and just pick it up at a distribution center. Dealers are the ones who are screwing the public not so much the manufactures

Close to 6mo meaning you ordered it dec of last year? Well shit, could you go into more detail in the timeline? Says mine was ordered in feb, but it also says "in production". We all know it doesnt take 6mo to a year to build one truck. So what does in production mean then? I know they tend to sit on the factory lot for their pretend bullshit QA, but thats 1 or 2 months tops. It was not like this when my RS was built. In production meant fuckin IN PRODUCTION and it took a couple days. QA to dealer lot took about another 8 weeks. Production was the shortest step. Dont quite understand the hold up, can anyone shine a better light on this? Im not asking the dealership anymore. Sendin it back too much is how ya get your food spit in.

All your modules are populated along with a tear tag on the Motorcraftservices site so I think your truck is 99.9% "built" even though it isn't showing so on the tracker. I think I saw someone just mention that both the beadlockers and mudflaps are on constraint so I am guessing that is the holdup and why it isn't showing fully built and waiting to ship.

Since I got a dealer allocation I didnt have a choice. If I had, I would have gone without the beadlocks. The truck will never be put in a situation to need them. And the mudflaps I could have just gotten aftermarket. But all the other options "its fully loaded" are exactly what I wanted. All the other allocations near me were all some shade of depression cement, and had markups. Figured since my 19trd pro was voodoo blue I may as well go flashyass again and get the pepper red.

Obviously this isnt mine, given the order and production dates are completelly different. Were you just showing it to give a general idea of the typical timeline to expect? Seems "yours" was ordered, in production, and built about 5 to 7 days prior to mine. This is hopeful news for sure, means if all goes well the truck could be on its way to built status in a week or so. Given its memorial day weekend, lets say 2 weeks. Heres to hoping the rumor about the beadlocks and mudflaps isnt entirely true. Or at minimum been quite exagerated.

Correct this is my build, no beadlocks and no mud flaps but I did add the spray in bed liner. This was just to show mine was listed as in production for almost an entire month.
