Huh, the tracker and links dont work on my phone. It either doesnt open and says it timed out even if i refresh the page type j11m at the speed of light and copy paste the vin and press search immediatelly, or it says "a window sticker for this vehicle has not been made yet" . But it opens and works correctly on my laptop. Adding to the self induced faux anxiety of me wanting to check for updates every 7.9 picoseconds. Driving me mad.

anyone know where this truck was manufactured? do they only have 1 factory pumping out ranger raptors in the US? trying to guess how long it should take for it to get here. given the dealership told me it was in transit 3 days ago. I assume it will be here tomorrow

update* I was wrong. And so was the dealership. They told me to come in on sat the 8th, said the truck would be there. the salesman was off friday as his daughter graduated HS so he gave me no last minute updates. I showed up, sure enough the truck wasnt there. The sales guys then made me run the credit app and start the process, just to then come back and tell me after the app was good "bad news, the truck doesnt have an MOS yet and we cant start any of the paperwork or do the trade in until it arrives" so 2 hours of driving wasted, and tons of gas, not to mention more miles on the trade in with the potential risk of an accident or damage every time I take it out.

fool me once. im not showing back up at the dealer without photo evidence the truck is on site by at least 2 employees that work there.

Another update, more like just to document. Yall already know what the dealer said prior, with saying the vehicle was going to be here a couple weeks ago. After that visit they texted me the truck was "in transit" Another week went by, so I inquired again as I can literally walk back and forth to Michigan a dozen times in a week from where I live. So the sales guy dug in and looked at some special program I guess can see exactly where the vehicle is based on its GPS, and JUST AS I EXPECTED the fuckin thing is still sitting in michigan. It was produced over a month ago, yet its just sitting in a parking lot not moving for absolutely no reason what so ever. Or as ford would say "because muh QA" uh huh, so it takes months and months to have someone look at the truck for 10 minutes and see if the fuckin doors are installed upside down? Must be an awful lot of DEI derp derp hires all working for eachother like idiocracy at the ford plant then. Probably all watch Ow My Balls on their 27 daily lunch breaks.

Back on topic, I feel your pain. After ordering last JUL I finally got mine last week. Built 4 MAR, sat for 2 months at MAP, then sat at the rail yard (2.5 hrs from my dealer) for 3 weeks.

Awesome truck, love everything about it so far (minus the rust). But I'm still super salty about the complete fail by Ford logistics. I'll never order a Ford again, I'll just wait for the vehicles to start showing up on dealer's websites.

Rust...... that would likely cause me to turn the vehicle down and get my money back depending on severity. Wouldnt be shocked to find their using them as youtube review cars, or just beating them senseless in the rail yard parking lot. Im hearing stories of vehicles showing up to the dealer with over 40 miles on them. My focus RS had 6. Traincars arent miles long. Semi truck trailers arent miles long. Dealership parking lots arent miles long. Just sayin. When I got out of the military my 370z was transported from Guam to the mainland on a boat and through 2 ports of customs faster than the absolute fucking retards at ford can get a single truck 200 miles with no significant logistical hurdles between. The ineptitude on display here is astonishing. Hope we never have another war and ford needs to convert to making tanks, planes and guns. They wont be delivered till 5 years after the wars been lost.

I guess on the plus side more time to save for a bigger down payment. That’s how I am looking at it. My special order Raptor truck was built last week that I ordered a year ago. One year to save which equates to 30% down payment! Lets see how long this takes till it’s in my driveway.

So its been quite some time since the dealershit said the truck was IN TRANSIT. I fully understand the CDK stupid nonsense thats going on right now. But could anyone with some inside knowledge please explain to me why a hack on their obsolete piece of shit 1997 program would in ANY WAY effect a vehicle being shuttled from one location to another on a semi truck. This is getting pretty fucking stupid to be honest. Im starting to suspect some shenanigans. Before I was just being sarcastic and joking, especially with the pole. Didnt for a second actually believe it, but now? im genuinelly concerned the dealerships trying to get one over on me. I dont give a rats tiny ass about their hack issues. They sold cars for what.... 50, 60 years before they even HAD an asinine program they rely too heavily on. Load the fuckin truck, drive it here, and lets fill out some manual paperwork. My guess is the truck already came, they hocked it to someone else willing to pay a markup, and are just waiting for another one to be pumped out of the factory hoping I wont notice the VIN difference when it finally arrives in 2048. Their probably regretting selling it to me for MSRP "already have money down and a receipt", and likely REALLY regret already giving me a price locked appraisal on my trade in. If the truck isnt at the dealership within the next 2 weeks, which is PLENTY of time for them to pay off the filthy disgusting 3rd world country terrorist hackers and GET THEIR SHIT IN ORDER im canceling the order, taking my money back and getting something else. My disgust with being fucked around outweighs my greed and desire to have a fancy toy I dont realistically need. plenty of other nice shit out there I can spend my money on.

I dropped mine. It was built 3/25/24, but just got to the dealer last week. So 3+ months in transit?

Reasons I dropped my order: Health issues with my back worsened, and I was worried about continuing being able to work full time.
The long delay from built to shipped made me suspicious about Quality Control. Reading people who had to slam their hoods, then read on here somewhere that Ford had to adjust their machinery May 3rd because of the hood closing issue.
Interior molding coming loose, seat quality, on and on and on. The j-brace issue, going to wait to see if Ford takes responsibility for that, other exterior metal not being lined up.
Engine issues, Xmission issues, etc, etc, etc.
Add to that, I'm flying out of Alaska to purchase and drive my truck home. If I get back to Alaska and have all of these issues, how troublesome would it be to get them fixed, and it will likely be sitting at the dealers for months...with no recourse because selling dealer would be thousands of miles away.

So I decided to take care of my health issues and relax. I exclusively ride my Harley in the summer anyway. Although that's been an issue with the back and leg pain. But I've figured some of that out (You have to be proactive with your own health these days. One size does NOT fit all.), and it's not a hindrance to making a purchase in the near future.

And...I want to wait out the QA issues. I've decided to buy a RR with a VIN in the 30000 range. Everyone of those that I've looked at online are a not at the dealer yet. But I'll look to make sure that "Built" date is post 5/3/2024. I could be taking a misinformed approach, but my main goal is the build date.

And I've noticed that dealers advertising mark ups, aren't selling now. The initial rush is over, and I've seen them dropping their prices back down to MSRP. So letting them sit on the lot will help me when it comes to purchasing.

And finally, I've got family in Texas, and I want to get graphics done on my truck as soon as I get it, so buying in Texas would be much more convenient for me. A plane ticket plus bus ticket to Oakdale, LA was going to be really expensive, compared to one to Austin, Houston, Dallas, or San Antonio.

So while I appreciate working with Vaughn Ford for the most part, that situation just wasn't right for me, and I think that's what my back was trying to tell me.

Issue already. The AC doesnt work. Anyone on here have a similar issue? Ac button lit. LO LO on both zones, recirculate on, fan up. Tried with and without max ac button on. Blows hot air, regardless if truck is in motion or stopped. He had me floor it during the test drive too and it...... was no faster than my tacoma. Hope theirs nothing wrong with it. Taking it back tomorrow to have the first of probably many issues fixed.

Someone on here already had their AC not working on their Raptor, I think I recall a fitting was loose or it had a pin hole in it and it was leaking the coolant out. He found it with UV light. Think it was up by the fender.

So im sure everyone here has lurked ST forums waiting for tunes and parts, and have no doubt stumbled accross the dreaded faceplant issue caused "ALLEGEDLY" by these vehicals almost never having the correct amount of ANY fluid in them from the factory. Mainly in this case the 10R60 transmission. Needs to be hot AF, its on the driver side just above the trans fluid pan near the rear. Way easier to get too on the raptor than an ST, drive it up on 4 rhyno ramps like I did and ya got clearance for days. Unscrew it with engine running, should read from 3 to 4.5 hot. Since ford couldnt be trusted to put fucking refrigerent in my truck, im assuming their retarded in all other sections as well. Getting a bigger pan. May hold off on a cooler for now, even if it has a thermostatic valve if it turns out our 10R60 has pressure pickup issues in 1st and 2nd. Just hit 1000 miles. Changing oil, putting RP 5w30, pulling the transmission pan, deeper pan, new gasket, fill new. May even check the diff. At this point the commie DEI hires they have up at the ford plant striking 3 times a year cant be trusted. Yall should do the same if you plan on this truck lasting a bit. Just did the undercoat, ceramic paint coating and window tint myself. Ordering all the skid plates ford skimped on, new dump pipes, an intercooler, an airbox and havent chosen my tune company yet. Their all still being tight ass secret squirrels about the RR tune like we are too stupid to notice there are 2 other vehicles with the EXACT same power train on the road since 2020.
