This morning I decided to try out using my remote to open/close the windows in my 2024 RR. This feature has to be turned on in Sync 4 using the dash tablet, and opens/closes all 4 windows at once. The specific sequence is outlined with the buttons that turn this feature on.
My first attempt had all 4 windows going down, but only 3 windows going up. The malfunctioning window was the rear driver side. After unsuccessfully messing with settings etc, I used google to find out this is somewhat common, and that the fix is to recalibrate the window the same way you recalibrate a one touch window button when it stops working. Just start the truck, and go thru 2 or 3 full sequences of lowering and raising the window from the front controls, and continuing to hold the button for a few seconds when it reaches both the top and the bottom. It should then start working from the remote like the rest.
Thought this might save some work for others having this issue. I had actually thought that this would be my first piece of warranty work. I'm ignoring one rear door that is cockeyed by less than 1/8 inch, and of course some surface rust on the driveshafts and some underneath components. That level of stuff doesn't bug me at all, and sometimes the cure is worse than the disease. For those that do want all their doors to line up perfectly, I did run into a guy yesterday at a car show, who installs doors on F150s at the local ford plant. He assured me that someone who knows what they are doing, and has the right tools, can align a door in 5 minutes or so. But he agreed that my misalignment was pretty minimal and probably not worth fussing with. Otherwise, this RRaptor is perfect in every aspect, well, except for not having a couple hundred more hp.... grinning a bit.
