Hey! This is my first post here. I've owned my Ranger Raptor for almost a month. It's an incredible vehicle, but Apple Carplay consistently fails. Is there anything I can do to fix this, or should I use regular Bluetooth until there is an update? Thanks!

I have my Raptor a month also and I have CarPlay issues every now and then. I few times it just didn't connect at all. Even if I turned my phone off and on. Then the next time I got it it would work. I've also recently had it just have no sounds, everything else works(maps etc). If I turn my phone off and on it usually works fine. But even though it's not a big issue it's still BS they should have it fixed by now

Pretty much an issue across the board, my 21 f150 lariet did it too.

I only have a problem where it will connect, but no sounds. Just turning the Wi-Fi off to disconnected from the truck and turning it back on, letting it reconnect on its own, sort it out every time.

Connecting and then disconnecting/not playing sounds even though the person on the phone can hear me.

What would be helpful is if you replied with which device you have.
Let me tell you why. I’ve got a case open with apple since October 23. Apparently random disconnects on 14 and 15 pro models when on a phone call.
I’ve got a 15 Pro max and it happens in every car I drive (rent a lot for work) wired or wireless.
Yes I’ve had other random issues with CarPlay. I’m told a huge update is coming from ford this summer and it will also restore features lost from ford pass. This issue is most likely apples at many levels. I’ve been working with apple engineering for months now.

I've encountered the same issues in GM cars as well. Usually some combination of unplugging & plugging back in the charging cord, restarting phone or restarting the car fixes the problem.

Looking forward to this summer! I have an IPhone 13 Pro.

I have an IPhone 13 Pro also and my CarPlay crashes in my RR often.

No crashing issues, but nearly 25% of the time my iPhone XR will connect via carplay and will absolutely refuse to play sound through the system. Only shutting off the vehicle and restarting it will fix it based on my troubleshooting. Super frustrating as that is obviously not ideal. This does not happen in other vehicles with carplay.
