I’m with you on this one. People are still debating whether it’s covered or not but I’m not sure why when it’s already been stated explicitly by Ford directly just like with other performance tunes they have offered and they’re treating this tune just like all the others. Why wouldn’t they? Not sure how a dealership’s answer would make a difference. Dealerships are wrong half the time about all types of things. Do your due diligence folks and read the documentation from Ford and Ford performance. It’s all in the writing. As much as I want to pull the trigger on this asap, I too am going to wait for confirmation on if this will void the powertrain portion of my ESP. I've got a 10 year 100k mile ESP and don't want to see the powertrain portion null/voided due to this "Modification." I rolled the dice on my Focus ST with a Cobb Tuner and had zero issues, but knowing that things are quite a bit more expensive to repair these days, especially on a RR versus a Focus ST, I'm going to wait for clarification lol.

RE: 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor Performance Calibration
Good morning Jeffery,
You are able to purchase the tune from any Ford dealership as well as any of our distributors, as long as you do not live in California. The tune is still waiting to be approved due to the CARB regulations there, so we do not offer the Buy It Now button for that reason.
Thank you,

Timestamp 1:12Ok, dumb question, new to the forum, so go easy on me.
Is it possible this would be included in 2025 RRaptors, or just be included as a factory upgrade/option? Curious because I'm waiting for 2025 order bank to open so I can pull the trigger (not that this will change my mind, was just wondering).
Exactly. I brought this up before and actually specifically mentioned the Dinan tune as another example. All the same applies here. The Ford Performance warranty reads to me similar to the DINAN warranty for BMWs.
If you have a failure in the first 36 months/36K miles, and it can be attributed to the Ford Performance tune... then the Ford Performance warranty will cover you. If you have a failure and it can NOT be attributed to the tune, then the Ford Factory warranty will cover you.
If after 36 months/36K miles you have a failure and it can be attributed to the Ford Performance tune... then you are NOT covered. If you have a failure and it can NOT be attributed to the tune, then the Ford Factory Warranty will still cover you (and I assume this would be the same for the Ford Extended Warranty).
Now we are talking. It must be because we own redfire cobras. Me, owned. no more cobraDoes anyone have the math skills to figure out the differences in 0-60 and 1/4 mile with the tune? Would be interested in understanding the difference.
