Yes, like when I unlock the truck the lights come on. It has goodbye lighting too when I lock it.
That's what I said, but you have to unlock it with the key fob when approaching for that to happen.
No car can remain locked. Have you enabled in in the menu?
How does it know you're approaching then? The truck isn't that smart.
The same way the door unlocks when you touch the handle with the key in your pocket.
Am I writing in a different language? Thats what I just said, when you unlock the vehicle. If you are at the point where youre unlocking the truck via door handle, you havent really approached it anymore have you?

I usually hear a click in the front of the truck when I walk up. However, it hasnt been dark enough yet to try this and see if that click means its turning on the approach lights. I really wish it would auto-unlock when it recognizes the keys in my pocket.
You are correct, just have to have the fob in hand/pocket as you approach, nice feature.
You should have it. Its buried in the settings. If mine has it then every other US made RR has it too.
