I don’t have anything in “Lighting” or in Zone lighting to enable it

When you expand the lighting section what do you have as options? I'm not by my truck to check at the moment.

It might also be under the General Tab. I know that's where some of the interior lighting settings are.

Ok. Finally got my dongle and license. I have been able to do the following successfully I think...

1. Remove the stupid seat belt stuff (now the regular warning light is off too... what do I need to turn the warning light back on?)
2. Set seat positioning to 2-2-0 configuration so the rear middle seat should never be active.
3. Approach lighting now works when walking up to the truck
4. Turned off the full screen warning when using the camera while driving (haven't tested it yet)
5. Changed headlamps to use last known position on start instead of auto. May change this back, but I prefer off as standard.
6. Changed door open mode in IPC(?) to disabled from manual or auto trans. This may have gotten rid of the put trans in neutral warning when opening the door. I have no driver's door chime or warning now.
7. Turned on something regarding headlights that looked to be for matrix (city use, I think?).

What did I screw up? What did I forget?

ha! oh man I thought I was clear. Ok.. approach your truck in the dark with your key/fob in your pocket. DO NOT TOUCH YOUR KEYS OR VEHICLE!

Your welcome lights will illuminate.

Ok just tried it. I don't know if it was because it wasn't dark enough yet but no lights came on when I approached the truck and unlocked it. I'll try again when it's darker out. Wonder if there's a sensor that only enables the lights when it's dark enough.

Under APIM enable 'Approach Detection Control', than BCM 726-45-01 [xxxx-xxxx-x1xx] and BCM 'Approach Detection - Vehicle'.

That's all I enabled and the approach lights come on when I'm about 2ft from the truck. Be sure to walk at least 30ft from the truck after locking, then approach with the key in your pocket to test. It will need to lose the signal first before it'll activate when you walk up.

Did you set your lane change blinks from 3 to 77? This let's everyone know that you intend to change lanes, you are changing lanes, and then for the next 5 minutes, you just changed lanes.

I actually left it at 3, but thought about 4 or 5. You know, so other drivers have more notification that they should speed up to cut me off.

They say the only way to make a Texas driver speed up is put your turn signal on.

Hey boys! Look what I got here.

Hey, where the Walk Away Lock at?!??

I have no idea what I changed to turn this on, but it doesn't work yet (automatically disables itself). Since I conveniently disabled my steering wheel controls farting around in FORscan, I'm going to reset the truck back to factory and figure out how I turned this on as well as whatever the mysterious "A-seat" button I turned on under the heated seats menu is and does (it too automatically shuts off).

Edit: reset SCCM module and that fixed the steering wheel buttons. Still can't figure out walk away locks, but somehow managed to disable Audible Feedback. I'm stopping for now so I don't break anything.

Oh, seatbelt warning light (little red icon) was turned back on with setting Row 1 Col 1 and R1C5 to Fixed with Belt Minder. I can't remember what positions/settings are used for the back seats. Chimes and okay box are still disabled, which is nice.
