Yes and no.These colors are most likely the most popular because they are the only colors on the lot and most folks purchase from the lot.
Just ask a dealer why all the vehicle on the lot are the above colors and you will get that they are the colors that sell. Gee I wonder why![]()
- Black has always been very popular. People like being "hard" and "gangsta" or "timeless".
- White is split since its the color of every fleet vehicle ever, and because some cars look very good in white, staying "fresh" or "clean" or "storm trooper mode".
- Silver / Grey I dont know what people see in those colors. Some darker greys get into the same area as white, but most greys (sorry Cactus Grey folks) are just bland.
- Dark Blue is the outlier as I assumed Red would be more popular nation wide, but Dark Blue is close to black.
- Weird colors just dont sell for a variety of reasons -
- Ridiculous markup
- Color is actually ugly
- Low volume vehicle in general
- Color appeals to only a specific demographic
- Cool color only on highest trim.
