As expected there aren't many obvious changes; yet another shade of gray (*yawn*) plus the beige, the black appearance package, and it looks like the running boards aren't included in the fx4 package, but are available separately for $695. Some options are still the same price while others went up a bit.

But where can I find if the 2025 can be flat towed?
I can tell you it can't, unless you want to disconnect the drive shafts.

Changes: SecuriCode Keypad is now black rather than body cover. That stinks.

Does the 2024 have “speed sign recognition”?

I need to see it in the flesh, but it's probably not going to happen. I have what's basically a velocity blue F150 right now and love the color, but wanted to mix it up. Might have to go with blue again.
I’ve had more compliments on this shelter green color than any other vehicle I’ve owned in such a short amount of time

Master Chief green is pretty much how I’ve described it. I’m seriously thinking about seeking out a window tint that has a Master Chief visor vibe.
The wife wants me to get a Halo themed plate.

It doesnt read the signs, it knows the speed limit by way of navigation.

Bummer. Do you mind if I ask what's your source? Rangers prior to 2024 were able to be flat towed and the 2024's were expected to be, but it was announced late that the 2024 could not be. Someone here asserted that an engineer on that team said the issue would be corrected for 2025 but it was too late for the 2024. Or something like that anyway, but until I see Ford announce that it is or is not I guess I'm just here gossiping :)

Wow, no Iconic Silver! I had better find out about my Iconic Silver Ranger I have on order.

Also, FX4 no longer includes the running boards.

I might be wrong but I don’t see heated steering wheels listed as a feature on any trim anymore for 2025.

I’m also glad I got my Hot Pepper Red Ranger Raptor as the color (and red overall) is gone for the 2025 Raptor!

The changes to the paint options are interesting. Really surprised they dropped iconic silver. Will be interested to see what the marsh gray looks on an actual truck.

I have a 24 Iconic silver, my dealer just told me he thinks that may be an overbite and that the silver has always been one of the best sellers. he said he can't believe that the order sheet is correct

It's in the manual, as to why, or if there's a work around, don't know about that.

Some people say it looks halo themed and I find that very offputting. I preferred the swamp and baby poop descriptions.

I'm usually indifferent to silver, but the Ranger looks particularly good in that color.

Looking at the descriptions for the 2024 and the 2025 Lariats, one thing that stands out to me is that the 2024 mentions Park Assist while the 2025 does not:

https://www.ford.com/trucks/ranger/2024/features/technology/
https://www.ford.com/trucks/ranger/features/technology/

I also went through the build/configure page for the lariat and the interior photos show the XL/XLT style shifter. Was there a problem with the Park Assist feature that I'm not aware of? I'd hate to think that Ford dropped it (if indeed they did?) just to be cheap on the $55k truck I'm about to buy.
I think I'll answer my own question: I'm guessing the Active Park Assist is now gone, and I'm guessing so because of this article I found: https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a46683694/ford-parallel-parking-tech-discontinued/

So while I'm less than delighted to get less for more, that article just makes me mad because if Kumar Galhotra, Ford's COO, is quoted correctly then he's f&*^ing terrible at math. The numbers in question are: it saves $60/vehicle for $10,000,000 per year and total savings of $2B (yes, 2 Billion). According to my math, saving $10M per year will take a whopping 200 years to save $2B. He vaguely mentions savings in "freight, manufacturing, and materials", but if those aren't rolled into the $60/vehicle as "cost of goods sold", or COGS, for the feature then he's bad at operations as well as math.

Enough ranting; looks like no parking assist.
