2025 Lariat Ordered - How did I do?

Ford has accepted my order for a '25 Lariat. I compared this dealer in Houston with 2 others and feel it was a good deal for the order. The price is $1,000 under invoice. Add in a dealer spray-in bedliner ($495), sales tax and dealer fees of $360 gets me to about $55.5k What do you think of the options I chose, the priority set and the price? Also, what does price level mean?

About only thing same as my order is color lol.
I got chrome, beige interior, and a four banger.

Looks almost identical to my ‘24 2.7 Velocity Blue FX4 I just picked up last week minus the black appearance pkg. Im definitely glad I was able to find one with the side steps & 2.7.

Price level refers to when order was put in what pricing was set from corporate. Throughout the year prices can go up obviously, so price level will change. You can go from 515 to 525. You receive price protection at 515 as long as you’re the buyer who ordered the truck. So if the MSRP jumps up to $55,795 you’re locked in at the current price.

I could not decide between the ruby red and the velocity blue. The dealer had pickups in both (red was used). While I was looking at the red F-150 he pulled up with a velocity blue ranger and I said, "That's the one!" Always wanted a black-out vehicle and was happy to see the package available in '25.

Between 20 and 25 MPG, depending on how many trips to the hills and my right foot always seems to be heavier than my left. I’m within one MPG hand calculation as well as trip computer. It’s close most of the time.


Just put topper on and not sure yet how it will respond to the extra weight. Also carry window samples every day which adds some extra weight and it’s only been less than a week or so running full time.


MPG versus the Yukon I was driving, no comparison. I’m driving in the hills (mountains) for work and play, powering up the steep grades was more of a concern.

Very comfortable ride.
