As the tittle says. Or am I gonna need to remove crash bars?

I don't wanna get into a debate about how I'm gonna lift it or if removing crash bars are a good idea or not. So just putting that out there.

Truck is cactus grey, here's a pic..

I was promised it would be no problem to change out my 33" (285s) for 35"(315s) when I bought mine. It turned out I would have to cut out the crash bars so the tire wouldn't hit while turning. We tested it with a set of factory mounts of from a Bronco.

What was your offset? The closer you can get to the control arms without rubbing the more likely they are to fit. Eventually we need a list of what tires size work with which offsets for both the RRaptor and the regular Ranger.

Yes, I'm hitting a brick wall trying to get information on what beadlock rings will work with what wheels, and also what wheels are interchangeable between the Ranger Raptor, Bronco Raptor and of course the F150.

This has turned into a nightmare for me. I'm trying to get the engineering dept at Ford Performance to give me some info now and waiting for their report!

If the truck is designed for 33s why would ford engineering be any help? That would be like asking them about 39" tires on a gen 3 raptor.

Yes, the truck stock tire is 33" and when ordering I advised I would prefer 35" (315) I was told by the dealership that it would be an easy change, and we would do that after it arrived. That isn't the issue engineering is involved with. My wheels are Bead lock wheels that was also part of my order. Now I'm trying to get the Bead lock rings needed to use the Bead Lock Wheels and My (64 S) option wheels are not listed in the Bead Lock Rings thru Ford Performance. So, they have the Engineering Department Reviewing the issue to see what Rings/Wheels etc. are interchangeable to resolve the problem they created.

To finish answering Jeffers question, I believe my wheels are 55 offset (17" x8.5") 6 on 5.5 (139.7)

Jeffers, I also had planned to do an 1" or 1.5" leveling kit for the front of mine to run the 35" (315). After several attempts the local Ford store I was dealing with told me they were unable to get a lift kit. That may have changed by now I was also looking

It depends how you use it. If you’re going to be off-roading then probably not. I still tap my inner fenders with a 2.5” perch collar and 35” tires with a +35mm, but I drive the truck extremely hard. I also removed both of my crash bars. My buddy with a 2” perch collar and 35s separated his pinch weld because he hit the fender so hard. It was fine for a while but we both eventually hit something hard enough to do some damage. He’s about to go to a 2.5” perch collar. In my opinion, if you’re doing 35s then get the proper lift, don’t try to keep it as low as possible or you will eventually regret it. Every truck is a little different but with a 2.5” collar I still have a tiny bit of rake.

I leveled mine with a 2.25" perch and with 315s on +35mm offset, I was hitting the crash bars and removed them.

What tires are you and your buddy running?

Ok, thanks.
I'm running BFG KM3 35/12.50/R17 on +25mm offset wheels. I have 2" perch collars and I removed the crash bars with a bit of trimming in the rear of the fender well. I was hoping that I will not have any rubbing with aggressive off-roading but after reading your comments, I may have to change it up. I know the BFG tires run small so hoping that would give me a little room.

Did you get the tire mounted? Maybe so by now. How's the experience been?

Yup, did a spacer on top of shock to get a 1" lift, removed crash bars, trimmed a wee bit of inner fender plastic, heat and molded my rokblokz mud flaps a bit in that same area and all is good! no rubbing offroad etc. Oh and used rokblokz wheel spacers and the stock rims for now. Which should put the stance out similar to 25mm offset wheel. I'm not the biggest fan of wheel spacers but they'll do for now.
