How did you get your wiper blades to stay up? Did you open your hood first? This is one of my complaints about our new Ranger XLT FX4 2.7L. Wish the wiper arms were the F150.

As per how well our Ranger is in the snow, we wouldn't know. Our truck is going on week 3 at the dealer as they continue to locate the water leak in the cab. We do have plenty of snow in Northern MI.

I just hit the wiper switch once and turn off the key when it's about halfway up, then just make sure you put them back to the windshield before starting the car again

That is a great pic. Do you carry chains and shovel?

Get back to us with another one when you actually try driving in those 36 inches of snow. If you get anywhere at all. I have been in 20” of fresh soft snow, but I was in an old lifted K5 Blazer with heavy truck chains on all four tires. It did fine.

Had to drive through it (probably about 18 inches) to get up and down my 150 foot driveway and turn around when I got home that next morning before I could clear it, no problem at all

Agreed. This vehicle is great in snow. I threw on a set of Michelin X Ice in 265/70/17 anyways, and they are fantastic. I am convinced they ride smoother and quieter than the Wranglers that came from the factory.

You can just manually rotate them up a bit

Glad you had good results. The reviews on the wranglers are not good (specifically the Wrangler Territory at/s). I’ve them to be okay in snow, but pretty weak off road. I just switched them out for more aggressive AT tires.

No, you don't. By design they tuck below the hood line when not in use. Turn the wipers on then just shut the truck off when the wipers are at the highest point in their travel. I've been doing this with my European cars for decades.
