Borla exhaust dropped off the RR this morning

Only had it for a week but Borla R&D is close to my house so I hit up my contact and they needed a RR so I dropped it off this morning should have some feedback in a week or 2 Change the pic to a better one

Interested in following this one... hope it maintains valved capabilities and sounds good.

Cold start and WOT flybys in Baja and Normal would be appreciated once the prototype is completed. Still can't get anything worthwhile out of the test mules for the Magnaflow option. All I've seen is an idling/rev video that isn't under load. No idea how Magnaflow thinks that is a good representation of a new product - and no way I'm paying 3K for a CBE without quality audio captures.

Your front end lift looks horrible IMO.

That looks to be pretty much stock suspension just parked with the rear tires lower than the front on an angled drive way?

I think that's the angle of the driveway and a truck with a leveling kit, not a Carolina lean.

yes it will have valves and they said something about retaining ford exhaust engineering and the tips they showed me were amazing

its stock suspension I only had it for a week Only mod so far is the Bronco SAS wheels

Following. I thought I was done with mods for my truck. The way I read it is you can just replace the midsection or add other options.

My read/assumptions. The “valves” are just behind the X-pipe, and they are included (replaced or?) the muffler would be replaced and the tubing up to the resonators would increase from 2.5” to 2.75”. So it seems that is the “midsection”, the options then would be from the resonators which are eliminated (evidently not replaced) to the tips (love the chrome tips on their Gen5 system). A lot of welding Is this how it seems to you???

No mention of performance increase that I see, just more aggressive sound. I run 95% in Baha mode and love the current sound.

I'd probably go with chrome tips - left from their page, right is the tips on my '19 - got to start saving my money....maybe black though

REached out to see if they had any pricing and other info - no pricing yet....also they said:
"Generally with our exhaust you will see both performance and slight fuel efficiency improvements.
Our exhaust will be a mid-section with optional tailpipes that would delete the stock tailpipe resonators.
Or if you are fine with the stock sound and just want a little bit more you could just go for the tailpipes to remove the resonators. They would work with the stock mid-section."
Assuming you have no status on your truck yet.

Got the RR back from Borla today I did not have time today to take detailed pics but my thoughts on driving it today I was expecting it to be louder and possibly some drone or noise at different speeds ( resonators deleted) but it was actually a deeper sound and less of the higher pitched noise I felt the stock exhaust had on highway driving in sports more deeper tone and louder but in a good way WOT is where you can really hear it come to life very happy with the sound thru out the whole RPM range all the exhaust flap modes work like the stock system quiet you can’t tell any difference.
