Found a cheap fix for the wind noise issue at the B pillar it cuts wind noise down by 90 percent to the point I only hear wind noise from the side mirrors now at highway speeds. If you look at the front edge of rear passenger doors where they meet the front passenger doors you will see a lip that was designed to hold a weather seal. Apparently Ford never got around to installing the seal on our trucks hence the wind noise. I got 3/8x1/4 D seals peel and stick from Amazon and they seal the front door to back door gap completely.

Thanks for the sharing OP, will be giving this a try.

For others getting an abnormal amount of wind noise, try folding in your mirror first to verify how much it is contributing if any. My driver side wind noise was much louder than on the passenger side. The mirror was the cause and replaced under warranty. I still hear a minor amount of wind noise, but it pales in comparison to the amount my mirror was causing.

I'm usually listening to music so the wind noise isn't bad. It will be nice to help keep the dust and salt grime out in Wisconsin too.

That stuff is really thin, does it seem like it will tear easily, from entering and exiting through the door opening? How is the adhesive, and did you use a primer?

Here is the link:

20FT Weather Stripping Door Seal Self Adhesive Door Weather Stripping Weather Strip Silicone D Shaped Door Seal Strip for Door Frame/Window Seal (20FT Black 3/8" W × 1/4" T)

Do you think that a seal with thicker walls this size would work here? I have used a lot of the various cheap weatherstrips from China, they are not all crap, but most of them are pretty horrible. I would prefer a USA product with genuine 3M branded adhesive. Anybody have a link to that?

No perfect fitment

there are probably better seals out there but this one was the correct fitment and does come with adhesive prep pads. You never hit the seal going in and out of the truck. If you experiment and find another seal that is better let us know.

This is a nice idea. I have never noticed any wind noise at any speed, but it could be due to the sound proofing I put in all the doors. Whatever works though. Might try this just to keep the dust out.
