I've read some posts to this effect, but haven't seen if anybody has found a solution or a cause for this issue.

When using Carplay, Spotify will stutter regularly (think like a glitch or like a small CD skip), and can pretty easily be triggered by either navigating through menus in Carplay, or basically anytime Maps updates its directions or display. I find this extremely annoying because I can't tell if this is something that I can fix somehow, or if it's a deficiency in the Car/Sync system itself (like maybe the onboard computer is insufficient).

I use Carplay exclusively hard wired and have tried multiple cables. I have the most recent Sync updates. iPhone 12 on most current iOS.

Same here- seems to be insufficient processor, cannot keep up doing more than one thing

I have the sound stutter when I use wired CarPlay. It happens whenever you change from one app to the other, either on the center display screen or on the phone itself. With wireless I never experienced the sound stutters.

I found wired with the small stutters better than running wireless for my use cases. Wireless would constantly disconnect or sound would not play at all. I usually had to disconnect/reconnect CarPlay or reboot the center display to fix it.

I also have to run wired if I want to use my ATT hotspot with my phone. You can't use wireless CarPlay and WIFI for internet at the same time.
