Hi everyone, I just wanted to share some real world feedback on the @RIVAL 4x4 1/4” thick aluminum skid plates verses the factory steel plates. We have been working with Rival for several months verifying what fits the market ranger verses world market, and updating the parts that do not directly bolt on.
We have been running the rival plates for about 6 months now and have tested them several times here in Texas, as well as Oklahoma, the Ozarks, and Colorado.
Our truck is not lifted yet, which means we have been testing them, ALOT. Check out the difference between our front skid plate (stock fx4 steel), and the aftermarket rival plates.
in case you are wondering, this truck is featured on our youtube channel (https://m.youtube.com/texastruckchannel) if you want to see more about it. Also, the damage that you see to the factory plate happened here:
Also, the transfer case skid plate is brand new which is why it looks so fresh.
In summery, the rival plates have saved our bacon.
