Anyone added one of these to an XLT w/o a B&O sound system? Wondering if either will fit either under the passenger seat or behind the rear seat?
I had one in my 74 Detomaso Pantera. It fit between the passenger seat and the firewall.

i didn't install that particular one, i went with the Kicker hideaway 8" (but the 10" is almost the same size enclosure) and it fits perfectly behind the back seat. I did a few videos about it with the B&O but you can 100% add it without the B&O, you would just need to pull the signal from a door speaker instead of the B&O Sub.

Wait. I thought the rear speakers didn't get a clean signal, so you needed a keyloc. Obviously I'm wrong, but I'm missing something. Are our rears full range, instead of midrange, speakers?

Yes, the rears are coax speakers getting a full range signal.

Thanks. My CLD arrived early today, so I got to work on the rear. I have no idea how you installed yours so quickly. Took me 3 hours to do one door to about 70% coverage (inner and outer skin, plus door card). You missed your calling in life. Lol

Where do you tap into the rear speaker?

finding the line to tape into for the rear speakers is a tough question. It is extremely frustrating to try to find because the wiring color scheme seems to change at every plug interface (example the wires in the doors connecting the speaker may be green with a red stripe and yellow with a blue stripe but then when it goes through the plug between the door and the b pillar the wires on the other side are completely different colors!). when I was doing my install I did all my work at the amp itself and just did trial and error but if you don't have the B&O system I don't know where your amp is, ours has two amps, on in the back powering the sub, rear speakers and front door midrange speakers and a second amp powering the center channel and the two a pillar tweeters. If you are able to look around and find an amp and take some pictures I can try to help out best I can from afar but without being there to get hands on it, it would be hard for me to give any meaningful guidance/advice. sorry.
