Dealers offering lifetime powertrain warranty and ceramic coating for 3K how legit is this. They said I just need to take to ASC certified mechanic

A dealer around here, not Ford, Nissan, offers lifetime power train warranty on all their vehicles.
Caveat is that you have to take it to them for ALL services.
Chances are, it's not the PT that will fail, but something electrical, suspension or HVAC.
For the 3K, I'd just get a Ford ESP. Mine cost about $2300 for 8yr 125K, bumper to bumper, not just PT.

Decline what the dealer is selling and purchase a Ford ESP through Granger or Flood Ford.

Run from it. It's a cheap come on for the dealer. Act like they did something for you. You have to have every service there and they almost always find a reason to not cover it.

I grew up in the business and we stayed away from this junk. It's a way for the dealer to make you have to use their service dept for all services while making you think you got something out if it. It's a complete smoke and mirrors gimmick!!!

Built into the price, lol. Tell them to then remove what it added to the price or you are walking. What a freaking joke and lie by them.

yeah I Iol'd myself when they said that as well like the break down clearly showed it as add on if it was built it you wouldn't show it as another row in the breakdown for the OTD price. I'm in no rush to get one and am taking my time to get the best deal I can which is the best place to be when buying I think.
