I went with the soft cover. After discount codes and my used points I think I paid a little over $200.
I had one similar on my 2003 F150 and it lasted 240K with no rip or tears, just had to replace a few broken snaps. I like that the entire bed is accessible when rolled up as opposed to a trifold.

OK, so I went with the hard tri-fold from Bison. I actually wanted the soft tri-fold as I think the soft covers look nicer and they are a lot cheaper. But when I discussed with them, it turns out they don't have a soft tri-fold for the 24-25 Ranger. Just soft roll-up or hard tri-fold. They expect to have soft tri-fold available in a month or two. I decided not to wait, and ordered the hard tri-fold. More than I wanted to spend, but far cheaper than the Ford version. $US500

Sounds like a very good price.

I’ve use Extang tri folds for years on numerous trucks. I’ve never had a security issue, although a knife could allow forced entry.
My current issue is with the rails on the Ranger, allowing leakage into the bed. I may investigate fully flat rail covers in the future.

How much water leakage are you experiencing? I'm thinking about the same cover.

Installed the BAK Revolver. Amazon and RealTruck offered a $200 discount about a month ago......so I went with it. Installation was pretty easy (it's literally a 1 man job) and it fits reasonably well. Don't know how water tight it is, but that's not something that I'm terribly concerned about.

Hard. Every single soft cover I've seen are all tattered, fade, and generally not good looking after a couple years.
