Has anyone seen a lower profile shark fin antenna that I can replace with the existing shark fin style? I need the extra space for my RTT. Would love to find a flat/flatter mount type replacement. Thanks.

No but i was wondering the same thing. I am not a fan of the shark fin gps antenna and the little fm antenna set up how they come these days. I wish they had the antennas still in the glass like back in the day. My buick got the best radio reception

I second that. The rubber antenna hits the edge of my garage door opening. Hoping we all find an easy alternative.

I believe there is a discussion about this somewhere here. Try a search

I don't (think I) mind the shark fin, but it is a little befuddling to me why the MoCo didn't put GPS & cell in the flat receivers like they do on the F150:

Though I guess those do have AM/FM completely separate on the fender.

I believe the shark fin has gps, and at least cellular. The long antenna would be am/fm

I'm pretty sure you are correct. I don't mind the antenna. I can unscrew it whenever I put the RTT on for the weekend. Unfortunately, to get in and out of the garage (to the ceiling mounted hoist) I need the extra 3 inches (that's what she said) of clearance.
