i was on your site and noticed it says mounts to the factory rail system? what does that mean? i don't have the factory tie down system, if that is what it means, i have just the few little loops in the bed that come in the basic trucks. how do i mount the side panels in the bed?

@AdventureLab
does anyone know the answer for this? do you just drill into the bed and mount if you don't have the rail system?

There are 4 threaded points under the bed rail on the front half of the bed and 4-5 non threaded holes on the bulkhead.

One comment I have about these molle panels. The bolt hole spacing on the AdventureLab fire extinguisher bracket doesn't quite line up with the holes on the molle panel. Would be cool if it did, but was easily remedied.

Oh shoot. Wish I had known you wanted to do that. We have a solution already - https://americanadventurelab.com/product/overhead-molle-fire-extinguisher-mount/

The fire extinguisher mounts use different bolt spacing than we can do with the MOLLE panels and stay on pattern. So, the plate above is an adapter that lines up the holes of the fire extinguisher mount with open spaces of the MOLLE panels.

Oh neat. I missed that on the website. I just made my own molle nuts to get the spacing I needed. If they end up rattling out of place I’ll grab that bracket.

We have so many products on the site, it's hard to keep everything related. That's the problem with having 2200 SKU's. 🤣🤣

We are pretty good at validating orders to make sure everything is compatible, but the CS team probably didn't realize you were wanting to mount it to the panels. I think that's going to be a pretty common need, though. I'll add a blurb on the product page about this adapter so it's easier to see going forward. Thank you for taking the time to let us know!

Considering these. Do you have any mounts for traction boards that will fit in the rear bulk head to carry 4 boards?

Also what sets you apart from Built Rite molle panels?

Great. Thanks. In one of the earlier posts in this thread, I explained why we chose our design and I contrasted some of the differences in our product and others. I'm not at home right now, but if you can't find it let me know and I'll dig it up for you.

We will have the bulkhead MAXTRAX Mount next week. Already have a few people waiting on that.

Thanks!

Thanks. I got Actiontrax boards. So not sure your mount will work or not?

I will noodle on a generic design to work with the other brands of traction boards. I wish they would all use the same pattern.

Thank you for the business!

Those boxes look very nice. I am not familiar with how they attach, but I'm confident we could build something that works off of our bed floor RAILS. They should be launching in a week or so.
Are you able to confirm if the Toughbuilt boxes will be an option for the RAILS system? [before I pour $$ into the Packout boxes]
Thanks!

Unfortunately, I cannot confirm that at this point. I can't commit to something we haven't had any experience with. However, worst case scenario, and we weren't able to make a proper sheet metal solution, we could always incorporate one of their mounting plates - https://stacktech.toughbuilt.com/?accessory=mounting-plate
