Hey yall, first time poster and first time owning a Ranger. I just bought a 2025 Ranger STX 4x4. I love it so far. My only complaint is that the rake is so aggressive, water is getting caught in the bed and not draining. Its got the modular drop in bed liner. It looks good but when it rains, water gets trapped and won't drain unless I park the front of the truck on a curb. Im looking at getting a leveling kit anyways but does anyone else have this issue? If so what corrective action did you take and also what size leveling kit did you get?

I've got the factory drop in bed liner (not modular) and there's two drain holes at the front corners of the bed? So if water pools at the front, it'll drain out those holes, and if water pools at the back it just drains out from the bottom of the tailgate?

You should have holes, too, @FloridaMatt96

But, i have a 2.5 level spacer kit in my 24 stx and a soft tonneau so i don't get water in the bed like that anymore

Mine just doesn't drain unless water can manage to get to the tailgate

Not sure what levelling it out will do? There should be drain holes that’ll drain the water. The back is higher for a reason, it’s designed to be able to take a heavy load in the rear (that sounds wrong lol)

levelling it out so the water doesn’t pool isn’t fixing the issue really, you need to investigate what’s going on with the drain holes in the bed

If it's a factory bed liner, then have the dealer make sure the drain holes are functioning properly.

It doesn't drain from my Ford modular liner, either.

I didn't bother to check anything, though. It's amazing just how well it seals up there. 🤣

Do you think a 1.5 inch kit would get it level?
it will get it closer to level but not level. i think a 1.5 inch would look better than my 2.5 because mine looks nose high most of hte time, though its actually 1/4 difference. i would rather have a slight bit of rake in case of towing or carrying a load

Drill a couple of drain holes in the corners of the liner and any place water pools. Simple no cost fix.
