Had my dealer visit my house and do the update for the loss of brake boost issue. Tech said that the ones he's done so far, the owners never experienced the issue.
I did, and it was disconcerting when it happened. Almost kissed more than one bumper because of it.
After the service, the brakes feel changed in a significant way. Seems like it has power now where it's supposed to, but overall less (takes more effort then it did previously).
Also, my dash configuration changed, specifically my custom gauges. It changed out my Oil temp for the Oil pressure, which I don't care about. If there is no pressure, I have bigger problems at hand and the damage is already done.
It also changed my custom menu (name escapes me at the moment) and removed things I set.
I wonder what other things this single update changed that it shouldn't. At least now I have consistent brake feel. I'll get used to the changes, but do wish there was a little more power behind it.
Just for awareness for those that are having this recall completed.
