This recall stop sale BS is a PIA if your shopping for one of these RRs.

Anyone else running into this issue?
I have reached out to multiple dealers showing a White RR in stock only to find they can't sell it.
What a PIA over a potential issue if you happen to take an impact in just right spot that an air bag could tear.
You could take an impact in just the right spot and no matter what the air bags do you could still get hurt or killed. Seems a bit excessive action over what was described as the potential issue.

They can't sell them because they're not FMVSS compliant. Ford isn't happy about it either.

It's the same thing in Canada. Not Transport Canada compliant, legally can not sell a new vehicle with a recall. The recall/s have to be completed before they can be sold. We are lucky it's not a stopuse immediately recall.

The Dealers I have spoken with today all say that Ford does not have a fix, and it could be months before these trucks that are affected by the stop sale can actually be sold.

One thing that seems consistent I believe all the ones I inquired about today with spray in bed liners even those still in transit, must have been built far enough back they got caught up in the stop sale.
Seems the trucks without them in transit or recently delivered to the dealers are still sellable. I think the date for ok to sell was sometime back in July. That delay in getting stuff like the bed liner must be longer then I ever thought it was.

I would think yours would be ok, I was told the cutoff was back in July I can’t recall the exact July date they told me , but an August’s build date I would expect it to be ok.

This is very disappointing. I heard of something like this with Highlanders two years ago. A boatload of them were on dealers lots and could not be sold due to an issue. Dealers had customer ordered vehicles sitting for months. You would think this would he a priority for Ford to get the fix straightened out.

My dealer has one 2025 RR in Marsh Gray. Discounted it $1785 a couple days ago. I was going to look at it but now he can't sell it. He said any Ranger built July 30, 2025, and before is affected. I looked up the VIN on the National recall site and there it is bigger than Dallas. As of today there are 4,528 unsold Rangers of various years on dealer lots and that is just what we can see in Trucar. Bad all around.

Dealer said not effected in stop sale. I took your advise and ran the vin in the NITSA recal website .

That's why I moreso jumped ship on waiting until January for my XLT order and snatched up a Raptor.

I don't think it'll necessarily drive prices up at all, but as more people get in the know, the actual available inventory won't last long.

No, I also read any Ranger produced July 29th and prior are effected.

That window sticker you shared, it was built in early August as it has a blend date of 7/30.

What is that 7/22/25 date at the bottom of the stricken? Blend date looks like 7/30?

This one shows 7/17/25 in that same location of the sticker and the dealer turned down working any deals on it , due to stop sale status. Blend date on this one is 7/23.
Wod what a fine line between these two trucks production dates.

Yea, hard to say how it’s going to affect prices, most dealers I spoke with today were MSRP or under for a Raptor. Only a couple had a markup over MSRP. Since I have a vehicle I am trading off all that matters is the trade difference, so I am still inquiring on even those showing a markup.
