Only two choices, I don’t want the poll to shift into other Ford model wheels or aftermarket replacements. It isn’t about which to order on a new truck you don’t own. I wanted some newer feedback after owners have seen and lived with them for a while, initial opinions can often change ! This is a simple popularity check. Thanks!

OEM Beadlock: 38Lbs wheel
OEM non-Beadlock: 27Lbs per wheel

Good aftermarket beadlock should weight around 28lbs
Good aftermarket non beadlocks are around 21-25 lbs

Best aftermarket wheel, something like a Volk Racing wheel are around 18lbs.

Every 1 extra pound that needs to be turned at the wheel is basically equivalent to an extra 10lbs on the truck. If you go from the OEM Beadlocks to a light non beadlock, you can literally feel the difference in the weight savings, you gas tank notices it too.

I voted for the standard non beadlock wheel. While I don’t love the look of the base model wheel I do like it much better than the bead lock and that’s not even talking about the difference in rotating mass. My favorite wheel on the Ranger is actually the last gen Tremor wheel (see the attached photo). I do really like the new Tremor wheel that is available in other markets too. Since that is not to be had in the NA market, I’m not sure if I’m going to end up in a Ranger after all. But if I do end up in a Ranger, I’ll most likely pull the trigger on a set of Method Race 703s… light weight and a classic simple design that will be easy to keep clean.

Std all the way. Better looking and most of us would never use the beadlocks anyways, so why pay extra for them. If you need them, there's better after mkt options anyways.

Get Beadlocks if you really need them for low tire pressure off-roading. If you do not need them get non-beadlock wheels. Weight difference is quite big.

I have zero use for bead lock, and they're ugly. If you rock crawl a LOT in you RR, go for it. But if you rock crawl a LOT, you're probably looking at aftermarket anyway.

Mine came with beadlock wheels. I would have ordered the other wheels. I am getting the rings powder coated code orange. At least if I have them mat as well make them pop.

Mine came with the bead lock wheels, and it was the only RR I could get hold of in shelter green and at msrp.
Would not have gotten them otherwise

I just took delivery of a '25 Ranger Lariat. I don't really like the stock rims so I ordered after market rims through my local tire dealer. He will install Michelin Snow tires on the stock rims and the OEM tires on the new rims along with TPMS. I live in Ontario Canada, so I have always installed winter snow tires on all my previous F150s and will do the same on the Ranger even though they have all been 4x4s. Even if I had have got the Raptor, which I wish I had, I still would proper winter snow tires installed. Just me I guess....

The Method 703 are not as light as you'd think, they're not heavy but I wouldn't consider them light weight.

The Method 703 in 17x8.5 30mm offset are 27.93lbs. Additionally they are not hub centric with a 106.25mm center bore.

The RTR EVO 6 17x9 30mm offset are 22.6lbs with a hub centric bore of 93.1mm specifically engineered for the Ranger Raptor and non Raptor Broncos.

RRW makes a few wheels in the 21lbs range but they are not exactly hub centric.

93.1mm center bore is more rare, while 106.25 is more common because they fit more applications like the Tacoma, 4Runner etc.

If you get a wheel that's not hub centric, make sure to install it with a hub centering ring, they're pretty each on ebay or amazon, it fills the gap in the wheel hub to eliminate and possible vibrations. Usually it's a non issue, but rarely people will report vibrations.

@Daweism, Thanks for your post. I thought the Method Race are hub centric? The spec on the link you provided does show a 106.25mm hub. I know some Ford dealers even carry Method Race wheels as an official Ford Performance parts (or at least did for awhile). I have looked at, and do like the RTR wheels you mentioned. They have also been on my short list as an aftermarket wheel I’d consider.

They usually ship with the hub-centering ring included. FP has a specific wheel made by Method Wheels for FP that are actually hub centric, they are more expensive and only come in 1 size.

I wonder if Method Race changed to all 106.25 hub bore. The link you sent is showing a hub bore of 106.25mm in the specs?
