Ordering a 2026 Ranger Raptor (Avalanche Gray)

Well, ladies and gentlemen... After dropping the RR from consideration (due to the lack of sunroof and red color option), I have come full circle and decided to place an order. I've spoke to a few dealer who claimed to have 2-3 allocations and ready to take an order, and am speaking to another now in Louisville, KY who is claiming they have not received information that they can take orders just yet. Has anyone in this forum placed an order for a 2026 Ranger (specifically a Raptor) yet? I am really wanting to pull the trigger, but hesitant with the dealers who said they can at this point considering our largest Ford dealer is telling me we can't yet. I have been truck shopping for about 9 months now and just ready to lock something in.

Congrats!! The dealer I am working with has 2 RR's allocated. He said he will give me a shout in December so I can build it on Ford's site. I am assuming that is when his allocations will be available. It will be Shelter Green with non-bead lock capable rims, mud flaps and spray in liner.

I'll be doing the standard wheels and mud flaps as well... I have something specific I want to place into the bedliner, so I'll have it done locally.

The last 15 or so vehicles I have owned in 20 years have all had a sunroof. I thought I would miss it in my 2024 Ranger Raptor and I actually don't miss it at all. I bet avalanche gray would look sick!

If a dealer can actually order against allocation, have them do it and ask for the order sheet and your order number. If they can't produce it, they're lying.

Kinda my thought.. I spent some time with a RAM dealer when I left the Army.. I'm assuming it's a similar process (provide a control/order number, make deposit. Wait out the production, recieve vehicle, complete docs, drive it home)..

The first dealer I spoke with wouldn't work a deal/number for me, gave me a verbal "we will do it for this much $$$, but it may increase in price $1,000-$3,000"... that's not a deal I'd commit to on anything.

I spoke with Bill Collins Ford in Louisville today and they said they should be able to place an order by Mid-December. Thats probably the route I'll go with.

Yeah. I have it in my mind that doing a matte ppf wrap over it would look stellar.

The order bank is open and dealers can order the Ranger Raptor. I'm the Fixed Operations Director at Long McArthur Ford. We are a large volume Raptor dealer. We can get whatever you want. I currently have several 2025 Raptors in stock. Just give us a call. We deliver to every State.

Be glad they don't offer sunroofs. I have had them on my F150 and Escape and both of them failed, the F150 broke twice, once under Ford PremiumCare warranty and once with out. The 2022 Escape had the roll back roof liner break and to my dismay found out that Ford PremiumCare warranty does not cover that part of the sunroof as they call it trim. What a crock of $%#@. The cost fix a sun roof will run you anywhere from $1,500 to $2500 depending on what breaks.

I saw where Lone McArthur in Selina, KS is taking orders for 2026 RR. I bought my 2nd one there and were great to work with.

I have been watching the Long McArthur Ford videos for awhile now. I plan on purchasing my 26' RR from them. My wife purchased a 25' Maverick AWD hybrid lariat and loves both the truck & the deal she got!

I placed my order for a 2026 ranger(non raptor) the end of Oct. as Big D said above the order banks are open for 2026. They have the order guide and it's available to you on this forum to read and figure out what you want to order. Go through it find out what you want place the order
I didn't put any money down for my order and I would never put money down on an order that the dealership themselves can not guarantee that they'll have it produced and delivered in a reasonable amount of time, 4- 8 months is NOT a reasonable amount of time in my opinion. production of 2026 MY doesn't even start until mid January, so your in for a wait anyway if you want to order a specific truck, if not find a 2025 , maybe talk to Big D up there, they are a huge dealership and he says they have 2025's in stock so....
