I picked up my truck from the dealer yesterday and checked with another service manager, and was told the same thing as before: it's not included in newer builds. Found a video walkthrough from 3 months ago (about 50 sec into it 2025 Ford Ranger XLT Review | POV Test Drive + Full Walkaround ) that shows it not installed. Looks like Ford decided to save a few $$ and not include it. I'll probably start looking for one on sale/discounted and install it myself. Now that I know they used to be included, its kinda bugging me not seeing it when I open the hood. lol
Thanks again for the update. I think I'll be looking into adding it myself. But it's not an inexpensive thing at $230 cad. Anybody know if that comes with the clips needed to install? I'm going to try to pay a visit to my dealership this week. See what they have to say.

I checked with an online OEM Ford Parts site and they said it does not include clips. You need to 12xW708633-S300 clips. Ford sales them in packs of 4. The cheapest I could find online was around $10 US per pack. Amazon had a 15 pack of similar clips for less then $10.

I went to two internet sites to order the insulator. Both where selling it for about $152 US. When I went through the order process, both sites wanted over $300 to ship it to Southern California. Will call the online places during the week to see why it costs so much to ship and if its not a mistake, I will reach out to my local dealers to see if they have it and will come close to matching the price (minus the shipping). If not, I think I can live without it for $450+.

Try Lakeland Ford in Florida. I was looking for a $45 part, Levittown Ford wanted $63 to ship it. I bought the part for $45 and $12 shipping.

Tasca ford and Lakeland Ford both have the panel listed at $155.
Tasca wants $100 to ship it. Lakeland says “delivery not available “. I would give them a call Monday. I didn’t price the clips.
Could someone post a picture of it installed please?

Check your local dealer's website. At mine, I can order it on their website for $162 (plus tax) and have it shipped to the dealer for free then I go and pick it up. If I order it at the counter it is $225 plus tax. I just got off the phone with them.

So, I ended up ordering one from my local dealer. They are longer a stock item but I feel they should be. I ordered one, probably paid too much. I pick it up today and install it myself.

What pins did you use?

I ordered W708633-S300. I'm hoping they're the right ones.
So, the pins are correct, just don't do what I did. They come in a pack of 4, however you order individually. I ordered 4 thinking I was getting 4 packs of 4, but no, I got 4. You need 12. Now I wait for more to arrive. I ordered from Amazon this time. They'll be here tomorrow.

As a buyer/end consumer I've always considered a "base trim" to have everything that is considered the running "standard" but lacking additional features that go beyond that basic ubiquitous standard. I'll give another example, the lack of hood struts on all trims shows that Ford choose to keep the difference in cost from the prop rod and prop rod clip which could be pennies per vehicle over providing something that should be now "standard". To me a hood blanket that would cost them no more than $5-10 per vehicle should be standard across the board and the lack of it screams cost cutting to me...
If it makes you feel better my Golf R dosnt have tpms or any sensors in the tire to measure psi... on a 2024. It uses the speed sensor to sense the tire going faster because its a smaller diameter from low psi and that triggers low pressure light. Now thats cheaping out.
