Winter is just around the corner, and with it comes the challenge every car owner dreads – snow removal! Whether it’s a light dusting or a full-on snowstorm, clearing snow off your car can be a real hassle.

We know everyone has their own tricks for tackling this frosty task. Some of you might use trusty snow brushes, others might grab whatever’s handy (hello, credit cards!), while some of you might even wait for the sun to take care of it. But here’s the thing – do you remember to clear the snow off your car roof? Some states, like New Hampshire, has laws that before you drive your car, you must clear off the snow on the roof in case the dropped-off snow lump would cause danger to other drivers.

At Wolfbox, we’re always looking for smart, efficient solutions to everyday problems. That’s why we’d like to introduce you to the Wolfbox Air Duster MF200 – your winter companion for snow and dust removal. While it’s compact and easy to use, it packs a powerful punch, making quick work of light snow, frost, and even those hard-to-reach spots. No more struggling with stubborn snow in tight spaces!

So, let’s hear from you:
  • What’s your go-to tool for snow removal?
  • How do you deal with snow on your roof or the bed?
Drop your tips, tricks, and winter hacks in the comments below! Let’s help each other stay safe and snow-free this season. And who knows – your idea might inspire someone else to tackle winter like a pro!

I use a SnoBrum.

It was a game changer once I found these existed.

There are several different varieties/brands just get one with a long enough handle to reach the roof or bed of your truck.

No more bristle brushes.

How many cfm is your Air Duster? That is the ONLY number that matters, just like with a shop or portable air compressor. 210 psi and a tiny weak airflow won’t fill a tire effectively and it certainly won’t remove snow or water off large areas. And blowing cold air on the glass won’t do a thing for frost. Post a video showing this, maybe somebody will believe your silly claims.

If I had to use air to remove snow, I would grab my Stihl BGM-56 gas leaf blower - 412 cfm. That is what I use to blow off the water after washing. It actually works very well for that.

If I had to use air to remove snow, I would grab my gas leaf blower - 350 cfm. That is what I use to blow off the water after washing. It actually works very well for that.

I discovered the shop vac on reverse is handy for the ice on widows as the motor helps heat the air! I can't remember the last time I needed anything for for snow in TX! :like:

For years I have just used a (well used) driveway sealer brush. Sometimes the snow is crusty and you need something stiff enough to bust up that crust. I also have a Snobrum as mentioned above, but the stiff bristles on the driveway sealant broom actually seem less damaging to the paint than the stiff foam of the Snobrum.

I've been using all those for years I believe it's my third truck I'm using it on.

We had snow here in south texas o
twice since i moved here in 93.

1999 was snow and also around 2015 or something.

They called the 1999 snow the 100 year snow and then when it snowed again, no one talked about it, ha ha ha.

My wife's grandma is 84 and the snow in 2015 was the first time she had seen snow in her life. She lives at the bottom tip of texas though, brownsville.

But you should have seen how crazy it was. You think south texas people cant drive in the rain, ha ha ha!! Imagine snow!

This pic is from 2022. No snow but really cold.

Frost Blocker screen (the one at Costco) over the windshield & mirrors so rip that thing off and clear in seconds. That things goes on every night. Great just for the frost. Then the dual battery M-18 Milwaukee blower with a 3D printed (EBay bought) 6” short snout nozzle to handle the roof, hood, lights, bumpers. And believe me that dual battery Milwaukee with the 6” nozzle is no joke. Clears any vehicle in seconds if it’s fresh powder. Same set up I use to dry a rig after washing. The frost blocker & the Milwaukee blower is bang bang set up!

My new Ranger stays in the garage. For the outside vehicles, if it's a powder snow and not too deep, I use my 60V Toro leaf blower. If it's a wet snow or super deep, I use the extendable car brush/scraper from Costco.
