Not yet. Had to focus on some new Wrangler products we're working on. I'm in MX for a couple of days for a Jeep event. I may have some time to mock it up while down here. Things move at a more casual pace here. 😁
@AdventureLab I'll be very close to St George around March 20-30 any chance I could come by and you could mock one up?

I just checked a 2 pin Deutsch and it will not go through that area or through the rectangular hole. I’m still cool with the Deutsch terminating at the top of the rail or even slightly higher and plug it if the rack is off for a bit. That way you can use any of the pockets and tuck the connector in the pocket pocket with the notch. Or worst case you take out the stack and use the original cover.

Not sure if that connector will make it through due to the angles.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but why not just run the wires through and then terminate the Deutsch connector after making the run? Just take the connector off when you make the run then add it back once the wire is through. Super easy to add a Deutsch connector.

Yeah I mentioned being able to de-pin the connector if need be.

Sorry. I didn't explain correctly. I don't expect it to fit through the square hole, but if it could fit below the little plastic cap, at least that way the connector could stay installed and covered up by the plastic cap if the rack needed to be removed for any reason.

99% of customers would not want to have to remove the connector. I'm hoping there is enough room below the little plastic cap to hide the connector when the rack is removed.

You're more than welcome to swing by and we can definitely take a look at your truck and see how we can help, but I should have everything I need at the shop to come up with a solution. It may be as simple as handing you a finished solution when you swing by.

Right ,if you remove the stack it will fit in all locations as long as you use the plug connector and not the receptacle.

Hey Brit, Any update on this? I know you were out of town so just checking in. Also, I have been in contact with Nacho and Flavio about fitting the Nacho Nano's to the rack as an alternative to the BD's. Flavio mentioned that Dalan (sp) is the go to on this but I have not been able to reach him. Flavio told me that it can be done and all you needed were the CAD files from Nacho. I think you guys have the CAD files now and would love to have them on my rack that I ordered 4 weeks ago.

Yo! Yes, that's exactly what I was trying to explain with the connectors. Thanks!

Dallin has been all over me about this one. He's like a pit bull when he gets his mind set on something! 😂 I did open the CAD from Nacho this evening. It's really good. That will make the finished product nice.

I should be able to get this knocked out early next week. The CAD changes are easy. It's getting the variations setup in our laser nesting software/press brake/manufacturing system/website/etc. that takes so long. Dallin will get with you about the specifics. He mentioned that you had an event you were trying to get setup for. When is that?

Yo Brit! Yeah I knew exactly what you were talking about and I had a bunch of Deutsch connectors so I figured I would have a look while you were gone and save some time.

I sent you a text about “who” Nacho is and they are doing some really innovative stuff. And their pricing is really great.

We have a Florida Raptor Run on the 22nd of this month. Not sure you can meet that timeline and I’m not expecting you to. But maybe we can figure something out? I’m not sure I will run a second rack rail yet as I am still figuring what I want this truck to be. I do have a list of items that I still need. A pillar light mounts, trailer light relocation and possibly a few other things as I continue. As well as some Nacho Supreme 80’s.

I’m around most of the weekend if you want to chat. Text, DM, call or not. lol I’m around.

We ordered a pair of clear and amber lights today. I'm concerned about their brightness just due to the size. They say they're only 2100 lumens, which isn't bad, but compared to the Diode Dynamics C2 Max at 3900, that's a big difference. For chase lights, we like to run as much light as we can to help punch through the dust. For "normal" rides through trails, lower light output is probably fine, but if your plan is to push the truck hard in a group, I would suggest a lot of light.

Either way, we have some coming. I really like the size of those lights. There are some places I need a light that size in other products, so we're going to give them a shot.

That CAD model is perfection. So, I can definitely knock out a set of these for you. I can get them to you before your event, but I doubt we could get them through powder coating before then, so they would have to ship raw to meet that date. Thoughts?

Also, I had another thought. Due to how their flush mount bezel attaches (to the back of the light), I think I could just build a bracket that attaches the light to the rack in the same way. That would eliminate the cost of the flush mount bezels, save a little weight, and make the cutout hole much smaller.

That should be helpful! I'm hoping to have some time to mock this up this evening during the late football game!
Any chance you got the mount for the t-slots done? Leaving March 11th so if you did or could I probably could get them in time and installed before moab trip

Not yet, but I am putting that on the list for evaluation this week, too. I need clones.

Ok I get it. I know what you are saying about the output. But they are extremely close to the BD S2 Pro and higher than the S2 sport. The DD Max is way more money than the Nacho Nano. I want to try them and see how they perform. If they don’t work I can use them in another location. Since the cost is so good. Can you do dual cut outs on the left and right like you do for the BD’s?

The flush mount they make allows for angle adjustment of the light will yours do the same? If so, that would be really slick!

I appreciate getting them out by my event but I really want them in black. I can rig them up temporarily for the event so no worries on that front. I’ll just make a shorter harness for now.

You’re gonna love these little things!

let me know what you think and when you might ship them. I need to order a few other items so maybe we just throw it all in the same box?

I don't see a big benefit to making them angle adjustable in this application. Thoughts?

Let me get a set produced and see if they line up with our powder cycle. I doubt they will get done, but I don't control the schedule. Our powder vendor has actually done a lot better the last couple of weeks, so hopefully they're getting caught up.
