Popular FORScan Options for 2024 Ranger XLT (2.3)?

Hi all, planning on diving into FORScan on my 24 Ranger XLT 2.3 with the full tech package. I know about a few popular options like disabling the seatbelt notice on the screen, Bambi mode, the digital temp gauges, etc.. but what are some of the best options to enable?

Also, are there any backend adjustments that you can make to the audio quality? Any way to add a full scale EQ instead of just the bass/mid/treble?

turn on all the settings in the transmission except raptor mode. you can add raptor mode but if you actually pick it once saved, you get errors.

change your splash screen to something cool, like the ford performance splash.

you probably already have most of hte cool stuff turned on since you have an xlt though

oh, turn on the off road screen so you get all the gages in the cluster view.

Turn off the DRL wink if you have or plan to install grill lights that tap the DRL wire. Otherwise all the changes I made are already noted in this thread.

Could you explain what the DRL wink is? Is that when the DRL turns off on one side when you turn your turn signal on?

Exactly. So if you tap the DRL for grill lights, those will also go off with the turn signal. Not really a big deal if you don't have grill lights, but looks goofy if you do.

Gotcha, I don't have grill lights but probably will turn that off anyways. Looks better when the DRL stays on on both sides.

This was covered in another thread, but is the hardware for 360 cameras literally not installed if not ‘included’ in an XLT or might the option just be disabled in software? My 2024 XLT (bought pre-owned) has almost all other options including power in both front seats.

I suspect that an XLT harness would be different than a Lariat. I don’t think you can just add a mirror, plug it in and make changes to Forscan.

Oh, is the mirror different? I assumed the front camera was behind the windshield center top.

Turning on the mirror stuff is in forscan. I just saw it. Like 6 lines for each mirror
