Well guys...it's almost go time for the second phase!

Picked up a few sets of turbos for R&D!

I've worked with Full-Race since 2012, so being here is like my second home. We did some Gen 3 R&D for the Formline kit together, we've led the way on Gen 2 Ecoboost Raptor for almost a decade, and now Full-Race is about to launch another division. (They will announce soon). Happy to support that too!

Turbos are in, SPD Alpha catted downpipes, hot/cold side piping, intake. Just need to install fueling!

I've also got my suspension stuff partly installed.

We lead the way by example and in the trenches with you all!

Took some time today to do fueling on the Ranger I've been waiting to do! (Yes, I'm focused, and it's 90* outside today haha!)

Dyno is coming up soon! Plan to max these baby Garretts out, then step up to another set we're working on!

More R&D (Shop Truck)

Got some initial testing done on some high content ethanol 90% on the standard Garrett Turbo
upgrade.

Installed Parts:

* S&B Intake
* SPD Catted Downpipes
* Nostrum Stage 3 Fuel kit (big bore pump, not Goliath)
* CVF Piping
* COBB Intercooler
* TurboSmart BOV

Fuel: E90

Two things I learned doing this:

1. 90% ethanol is not needed, lol.
2. You run out of fueling capacity much faster using a higher content, even on the Nostrum Stage 3 fuel system.

Last week we made 611whp out of the Stage 3 fuel system on the modified Garrett turbos, but at 65% ethanol. We were able to hit MBT on 65%, so 90% isn't needed.

I capped torque on my truck at 600ft-lbs, truck was done at 560whp. It was pulling back power due to lack of fueling capacity. I'll lower the content and see if I can hop back on the dyno before our first 2 offroad events.

The torque is pretty dang high, I'll setup another map that lowers toque for more control offroad.

Those numbers are awesome.

Haven't skimmed the whole thread, but hows the trans hold up to those power levels? Read more and saw it's not that much of a concern. Very cool.

At this point the trans will likely be my next upgrade. I have different power & torque levels I'll implement today via map switching. This is a great tool for those who want to raise/lower power on the fly.

I'll post more about it. I've had it on my bronco for about 8 months. It's awesome!

Great work! Not surprised about the e90. Anything over pump e85 is a waste on my CTS-V (and that's with ID1300's). Ethanol at the pump measured anywhere from low 60% to 76% depending on the season (winter vs summer blend).

I think eventually I want to run e85 strait from the pump without mixing, other than the occasional 93 octane to flush it out every once in a while, just like I do the V.

Yep, it doesn't do much. Even the cooling effects taper off as well above 70%.
