$22,000 RR Dealer Markup - Really???

My two local Ford dealers are still adding $5K Market Adjustment, but this place near Palm Springs CA had me astonished…

Has anybody seen higher markups? Also, I am seeing two and three year old RRs with under 20,000 miles listed for $52-$55k. That is beyond crazy……

And its a 2025. Looks like a they threw some color matching, Method wheels and black exhaust tips for those extra dollars.

Phoenix area is still really bad. I was at the dealer getting an oil change just now. Noticed a sand RR on the lot so I walked over and noticed the 20k adjustment fee with a total of 82k . I would still not have a Raptor if I didn't know someone in the biz and payed MSRP. This place sucks for buying new.

I researched used and noticed the average price with miles over 20k was 50k-54k

Future Ford in Sacramento is also a buncha clowns. They now just say "call for price", but they had one near 90k for a while.

Dealers in the Denver area are asking $5k - $10k over MSRP. I went slightly east to Nebraska and snagged a '26 for MSRP from an honest Midwest dealer

It really bothers me that the manufacturers don't step in and put some pressure on the dealers to stop this greedy nonsense. Ford, in my opinion, did a great job to get a lot of vehicle to market for the price and then the dealers destroy it with these horrific markups. Experienced it first a few years back with a GT350, wanted $15K over sticker in Staten Island at Dana Ford, so I waited and got one that still had the new car smell, near Albany, with 800 miles on the odometer, for well under sticker. Fine with me.

Yep. Many under MSRP including the one I bought last year.

Buy one down here, fly out, and drive it back to get to know your truck!

Not promoting any dealer over another but Folsom Lake Ford also had some wild markups on all things Raptor. I sent an email and got more realistic pricing. Elk Grove Ford was also reasonable I have to say.

I should note that I have purchased from both dealers in the past - not sure if that really makes a difference or not but I felt I got honest answers if my price was worth both parties time.

Most I see in Eastern Pa are being sold at MSRP, occasionally $1-2k under.

Quick search on autotrader… about 30 w/i 500 miles and only 1 not sticker… had alot of aftermarket/dealer installed items.

saw one here in southern calif.. $25K over ya you got some method wheels and window tint and paint protection and the one that got me for $500 Nitrogen for the tires lol
