Getting camera wire from front to the back window for dash cam

Is there any kind of write up on how to snake a dash cam wire from front window to the rear window. I've bought the trim removal tools for this to lessen my destructive tendencies while doing this sort of work but if there is some sort of write up or video of how to get the wires across the headliner or maybe along the side trim? IDK what the best route is really.

I got blackvue elite10 and am planning on powering the parking mode from the fuse box(Think fuse#34) and powering the switched wire from fuse #35, so I'll need to get those wires down the a-pillar, that's pretty self explaining.
It's the wire for the second camera that has me hesitant to attack this.

Any kind of advise or instruction would be helpful, thanks.

Route the wire along with the power wire to the A-pillar trim since you'll have that off. Remove the B-Pillar trim and C-pillar trim, or just the top portion. Use a trim tool to push the wire between the headliner and roof. I used a metal dash cam bracket for my rear camera, works nicely. This thread might help Dash cam install

If you pull the weather stripping off the doors you can easily push the wire into the headliner past the air bags. Only trim I had to take off was the A-pillar to run to the fuse box. If you search you tube there's a really detailed video out there on it.

I powered mine from the rear-view mirror, so it's got no power when the engine is off. But I tucked the rear camera cable into the gap along the head liner over to the driver's side A-pillar. Removed that A-pillar trim piece and zip-tied it above and out of the way of the air bag to an existing wiring harness. Then I ran it down towards the windshield, keeping it out of the way of the airbag, and tied it off to the same harness in a couple of places along its length. Once it was below the forward end of the airbag, I removed the door weather stripping and ran it into the gap between the A-pillar and the dashboard, then between the door and the dashboard edge. I then removed the weather stripping along the bottom of the door and pushed it into the gap along the door bottom. I then snaked it through the bottom of the trim piece at the B-pillar, and along the bottom of the rear door after removing that weather stripping. Then I snaked it through the rear trim pieces to the back wall. I fed it up behind the driver's side rear seat to the window where it's stuck to the glass behind the head rest. Then I replaced all of the weather stripping and the A-pillar trim. I ran it this way to keep the cable away from the airbag, and there is no adhesive holding the weather stripping in place. It just pulls out and pushes in. There's a few videos on you tube showing how to run the cable into the dash. Also, there are two, I call them keepers, under the A-pillar to keep it from being blown into your face if the airbag deploys. They are a pain to remove and reinstall the first time you do it. There's video showing them as well.

How well does that blackvue metal bracket work for you, do you get camera shake in the rear camera video or distortion from being a little further from the back window.

The bracket works surprisingly well. I had to bend it slightly by hand to get it away from the window, otherwise when the window slides open and shut, it would rub. The exact spacing isn't very far from the window. No camera shake at all and only slight fish eye distortion on the edges (see below). The only thing I don't like is not being able to see directly behind the tailgate. But that would require an exterior camera behind the tailgate.

Front

Rear - Excuse the slight tilt, just moved daughter home from college for the summer and camera got knocked a little - since the bracket is only wedged and not screwed in or attached with adhesive, it can be moved fairly easily, either purposefully or accidentally. Only time that's an issue for me is if the back seat is full of stuff/boxes all the way to the top and they slide around enough to contact the camera. But can be easily adjusted back.

Another thought if you’re handy and also a huge 2 for 1. Drop the headliner and sound deaden the roof and run your wiring. Just something to consider.

Running it along the bottom was easy. Just pull the weatherstripping from the bottom of the doors and push it into the gap. Then push the weatherstripping back in. There’s room to fish it under and thru the trim at the bottom of the B pillar to it from front to back. Mine comes up from the floor behind the head rest, drivers side.
