I think little early for injector service. But that just my opinion.
Yea it was more of a choice than a requirement, this was just before I went to the Texas Raptor Run and the first real abuse for my engine so I thought: better to flog it when it’s in good shape instead of asking for performance after the last 10k have been idling in traffic lol

Here’s what I’m getting done for the 30k service

All that looks good fro preventive maintenance. But nothing on the XFER case or front diff?

Took my RR in today to get the seat recall done and see what they'd recommend for the 30K service. I was a little surprised after they did the oil and filter and rotated tires and checked a bunch of stuff (including the engine air filter and cabin filters that they correctly identified as not needing replacement as I had done them both a few weeks ago) that they didn't recommend anything else yet. Then the advisor printed the page below, using their "scheduled maintenance tool" and even set it to "severe driving conditions."

I've always found the dealer recommendations to be very pessimistic; that is, recommended things seemingly way before they should be done; or more often than most would need or want. This one is so far the other direction, I find it nearly useless. I know that technology of the mechanical bits and the lubricants is a far cry better now than it was in the late 90s, early 2000s, but 150,000 miles for driveline fluids?

Anyway, I think I am going to wait until between 40-45K to service the 4WD stuff and probably even have them do spark plugs at that point as I have had bad experiences with waiting on the "long life" plugs and then they don't want to come out of the head. Figure if I do it this way,, I'll have some breathing room before I have the shocks "serviced" at 50K.

This is what Ford recommends for 30K service on my XLT FX4:

Here's what happens at your 30,000mi checkup:
  • For severe service, change the front axle fluid.
  • For severe service, Change transfer case fluid.
  • Replace engine air filter(s).
  • Inspect brake pads, shoes, rotors, drums, brake linings, hoses and parking brake.
  • Inspect engine cooling system level, strength and hoses.
  • Inspect exhaust system and heat shields.
  • Inspect front axle and U-joints. Lubricate if equipped with grease fittings.
  • Inspect half-shaft boots.
  • Inspect steering linkage, ball joints, suspension, tie-rod ends, drive shaft and U-joints. Lubricate if equipped with grease fittings.
  • Inspect the automatic transmission fluid level (if equipped with a dipstick). Consult your dealer for requirements.
  • Inspect the wheels and related components for abnormal noise, wear, looseness or drag.
  • Perform multi-point inspection.
  • Rotate the tires, inspect tire wear and measure tread depth.
