Yeah, I like them and feel it's the best option on the market currently. A simple solution would be a revised mount that angled the light down more, so the combo pattern doesn't blind people, but I use them when it's raining, foggy, or early morning on the interstate and haven't really had any issues with other vehicles flashing me.You still liking these, or would you trade them in for a more SAE style cut-off if they released one?
You ever get any more progress? Mines sitting in awaiting shipment still. Only been a few daysya got a email my order is being process hopefully soon..
I'm in the same boat as you. Been awaiting shipment for over a week now...You ever get any more progress? Mines sitting in awaiting shipment still. Only been a few days
To be fair, it did say “back ordered” when I placed mine.I'm in the same boat as you. Been awaiting shipment for over a week now...
I took a minute and popped the inspection cover off of the bottom of the DS mirror arm. It looks like there is enough meat in there to bolt a pod light bracket directly to the arm between the sail and mirror hinge. Might not support a 3" for long without some beefing up, or going through both arms, but I think it could support a 2-banger without too much worry. A clamp that mounts around the arm might be better, though.Heck yeah man, have you checked out the below mirror lights the tacomas have? I was wanting to figure out how to replicate that with our mirrors, but alas one project at a time.
