Man, I wish Ford would offer a 6' bed option

The Ranger FX4 with a 2.7 is almost the ideal reasonably-sized and powered truck. If they would offer a 6' bed it would be close enough to perfect to quote an old Alabama song.

Ours handled and responded like a race car in the mountains around Asheville, NC last month.

I suspect you will see additional cab/bed options with the Ranger replacement (F-100) that will be built at TTP. Ford says production of that truck will begin in 2029.

I was considering buying a 5th Gen a few years ago. They offered std cab and supercab with 6' bed. They dropped them for the 6th gens in the US.
I wish the RR was supercab 6' bed.
I dislike std cabs because I'm tall. I don't need a full 4door, we don't have kids, we don't have friends, we don't have dogs... A 6' bed still kinda small but 5' is a joke.
I've had 3 supercab short beds (full size) and they are perfect for my needs. When I bought the F350 people thought I was nuts, why buy a shorty 1 ton diesel... But its primary use is to tow my 5th wheel, a longer truck is harder to park a trailer with and I don't need a 4dr. Fun to watch guys in campgrounds trying to spot their trailers with their mega trucks....
