TIL stainless steel is an "ugly metal color".
I've always associated painted exhaust tips with cheap shit carbon steel exhaust that was painted for some corrosion resistance.
I'm glad its just vinyl and not the gloss black plastic they used on the Bronco Sport. My wife's BS is 2 years old and the piano black plastic is already swirled to hell and there's no great way to fix it.
It would be near impossible to get a hard sunshade around the mirror if it wasn’t cut a little short, unless you’re into adjusting your mirror every time you use it.
Yeah as long as you have the hitch receiver, it’s rated to tow 7500lbs with a brake controller. Here’s the towing guide from Ford.

My small boat trailer is pretty level with a 6" drop. 4" works ok, but 6" is better. I just bought a 6" adjustable drop hitch because I'm sure with heavier loads, the 4" will probably work better.
$1500 is pretty reasonable to hoon someone else's $60,000 truck for a day on their track. Going rate to rent an old Spec Miata for a track day is in the range of $1000 and doesn't include the track time. I'd be willing to bet Ford is barely breaking even at that price.
I never did the ST School...
That's what I was guessing as well. To the car, the stick on keypad on our door probably operates very similar to a key. Its not a two way communication.
I have the R button setup to put the truck in a Go Fast mode; Sport, baja exhaust, sport shocks.
Dumb of Ford to give us a “Raptor mode” button, but make people need to use it to put the truck in a daily driver mode because they don’t give you any other options to save settings.
Eventually...
Doesn't Ford have basically pre-established rates for installation of accessories like the J-Brace? On the Ford accessories website you can add installation to the order of the brackets for $192. I'd be willing to bet the dealer thinks the install isn't worth the $192, so they just decline to do it.
The oem wireless charger has already had overheating problems with my phone. In the past I ran an Apple MagSafe charger in a Proclip mount and never had issues.
Also sometimes the huge screen is harder to use than the phone itself, especially if I could mount the phone up higher.
Probably not, but a friend of mine did the F150 Raptor school a few years ago and some guy in the group did manage to roll a truck....
I haven't bought insurance at track days in years, but I can afford to write off my old shitbox race car. I really can't afford to write off a $60,000 truck, so...
Lack of memory on at least some of the settings is one of my biggest complaints with this truck. And the R button should be a toggle. R for full fuck around mode, then R again for return to normal.
