This truck isn’t capable of actually adapting to any amount of E85 in a way that improves performance with the FP tune.
Id recommend you stop doing that immediately.
Or get a custom tune.
They are waste of money with a factory steering rack. The factory tie rods are designed to break so that the rack doesn’t.
With these tie rods, if you were to hit something that would otherwise break your factory tie rods, your rack would snap instead…
Broken tie rod is fixable in the field...
Would love to see dyno results of this without SAE correction!
What was the most power you were able to make with just intake and tune?
Were you really able to notice any flow restriction with the stock charge pipes?
For what this truck weighs, it has to be the absolute worst towing truck on the market compared to other trucks in its weight class.
if you’re already having cam phaser issues and are towing a boat and sxs’s and can get out of it for a $2k loss I’d take the money and run!
I’m the opposite of against guns!
In a court of law, it can become difficult to prove that you’re goal was self defense if you only carry a device that pokes holes in people and nothing that can help patch holes in people.
Have any of these “every day carriers” ever done any real world training...
For all you guys running around with guns in the car.
Do you accompany them with anything useful like a flashlight or tourniquet? Basic first aid?
Pretty hard to claim you carry it for self defense when you only carry tools to harm and nothing to help.
There will be a direct relationship with increased noise and decreased rotor life with high performance brake pads. Not to mention cold vs hot operating temps compared to friction coefficient.
The only way to improve all of there’s factors across the board is larger calipers and rotors…
The problem is with the size of the calipers and rotors themselves.
Different pads are just going to be a marginal “bandaid” fix. Doesn’t solve the actual problem.
Following this thread.
I completely agree these brakes are way undersized for the power and weight of this vehicle.
If an upgrade option was available I’d buy it tomorrow!
Be careful! To a lot of people on here, it’s more important to prove me wrong and spread misinformation than it is to spread factual information with evidence that backs it up.
They might start blocking/ignoring you now too.
